Why is my chicken not flying on my lap

I would have someone place them on your lap, then you say whatever you want the call to be (perhaps 'lap lap lap!') and give them a treat immediately after saying that. Keep giving them treats every 10 seconds that they stay on your lap. Mine love blueberries, so those would probably be my training tool. Then repeat every day. Eventually, try saying 'lap lap lap!" and they'll hopefully come up on their own, and stay longer.

Mine really like to be petted! It's useful, too, because you can check for mites and do general health checks while they're there.

She let me pet her but she gets off sometimes when I’m not petting her and she just sitting there. But what breed is that?

She is friendly because I raised her from a chick. Older birds need more time to get to trust you. No bird can be forced to be friendly; you have to wait for them to be ready. Just remember -- all chickens make good pets!
Sometimes, she falls asleep on my lap, or sunbathes on me. I have 2. The other one is not as loving, but will still sit on me for a short time. So they each have their own personalities.

Yeah I saw that. When I got chickens I didn’t know the breeds so I just got a random breed. I didn’t even know chicken has breeds

I trained my girl to jump on my arm! I took lots of treats and weeks too perfect it, but now she loves to jump onto my arm and sit down to cuddle! I recommend using crickets to train with. They are big enough to put in your pocket and a chicken mouth full. I started by setting her on my arm and giving her a treat. Eventually she corresponded arm to treat and she knew that if she jumped on my arm she would get a treat! Good luck!

I used to give grasshoppers that I caught from the front yard (it was gross but I feed it to my chickens ) usually in summer I catch like 20-30 grasshoppers every few days and give it to my cockerels and pullet but then sadly had to give the cockerels away

Oh yeah. I actually asked the breeder if they have any hens the same size as mine but then she only had two that are a month older I think and then she said they love to cuddle and very friendly but she couldn’t cuddle with them since she’s busy. So she gave them to me since we needed hens and aren’t allowed roosters . I actually can’t believe it’s been 3 months since we got them and I can see they rlly liked to cuddle. She even sit on me and sun bath too lol
