Why is my hen eating paint?

She has oyster she'll readily available in the coop. And I bake and crush chicken and Guinea egg shells and feed them back.

I'm honestly not sure then! Have you observed her ever eating them? Maybe you can trick her bu putting it in some of her treats! At this point, I'm worried about the house and her health
I dont want any of those paint chemicals in her eggs

My chickens ate all of the insulation/foam out of the walls of their pens. It drives me crazy!!! Like what the Frank! You have food, grass, bugs, etc., stop eating the walls!

Oh yes, she loves egg shell. They are treats for her. I keep them in a plastic container and if I shake them she comes running. I'm like you and don't want chemicals in the eggs.

Is there a way you can block access to those parts of the house? Maybe put a potted plant or something else to block it?
