Why is this site so slow loading?

I've been having major issues with the sites lack of speed. It takes up to a full minute for each page to load. S if I got to My Profile, then click on a topic, then select a page, in total, I'll be waiting up to 3 minutes to read a thread. Then its another minute or two if I want to comment. It's a pain...

I've had the same problems as all of the above. I use to visit here twice a day or more....now maybe only 2-3 times per week.....I just don't have the time to wait....it takes forever. I do spend more time on the "Easy Garden" and "Backyard Herds" groups....I hope they don't change as well.... This was always my first site I'd go to....now I rarely visit. Maybe things will get better later.....(???)
