wife and adult stepson

My mother did (does) the same thing with my brother. He is 45 ,unemployed,on disability. Lives in a trailer on a lot all bought and paid for by mom. She buys him cars , clothes, food, whatever he needs. She always has. When he was a teenager he would wreck a car , poof magic new car. Now the funny part, same women couldnt even be bothered to take me driving on a permit once, when I was a teen. In fact not so long ago, my brother was telling me how we need to take care of mom cause we need her, and cant survive without her. I am like really?? I am and have been since age 18 independent, had a job, paid my own way. Mabey all the help she gave him, and didnt give me, worked out rather well anyways.

I guess what I am trying to say is if your wife doesn't want to face or deal with the problem with you as a team, unfortunately move on cause, as in my case the problem isn't gonna go away.
