Wild Horse Rp! ~ pm to join ~ ( The book!!!!)

ChicknsRock.. Nice story.. Please dont get mad when i say this (mostly because i dont check my pms so if you pmed and asked i didnt see.) But i would have like to hear about my characters being used in a book and stuff.. But still a good book! Keep it up! (Also can you write about valley herd if you havent already?)
Chapter 2 and 3 were mostly all about Snowbird and Kellen. Unfortunately I cannot add all of the herd's stories, but I do include the important events.

Chapter 5
Star came to a stop near Cerulean "Hi, I am Star."
"Hello, I'm Cerulean," said the blue roan.
"I'm Sapphire," She told Cerulean.
Star smiled at Cerulean.
Cerulean blinked and watched Star and Sapphire. "Are you two a herd?"
Star nodded. "Yes, Moon left to find more mares for our herd."
"Seems like you're doing a better job," Cerulean said. She flicked her tail, happy to be in the company of other horses again.
Star laughed. "Yeah, seems so, we will see when he returns," she said happily.
"Do you want to join?" She said to Cerulean.

No luck... Moon grumbled to himself. He nickered when he saw Cerulean. He started running to his Star and these two blue roan mares.
Star grinned and nuzzled Moon. "Sapphire has agreed to join our herd and she asked Cerulean, who has not had a chance to answer yet." She said happily.
Cerulean moved off a few feet when the stud appeared. She was interested in joining, but nervous about it. This was her first encounter with a stallion.
Moon leaned over to whisper in Star's ear.
"Tell her she doesn't have to....well, you know, be my...wife."
Star nodded and walked to Cerulean. "None of us will force you to join our herd if you don't want to, Cerulean. You don't have to fear Moon." She said calmly.
Cerulean looked from Star to Moon and said, "I'd like to join."
Moon whinnied happily. " Field herd! We shall settle right here in this field, where we can have lots of grass and there's a pond nearby." he reared happily. "I have a herd now!" he galloped to each of his mares and nuzzled them.
Star smiled, watching Moon.
Sapphire smiled. She liked being in a herd.
Cerulean swished her tail lazily, looking from one horse to the other. She felt happy.
Star was happy also. She laid down to sleep.
Sapphire laid down beside her. She nickered, inviting Cerulean into their cuddle puddle.
Star nickered happily, raising her head to look around the herd.
Cerulean approached slowly, curling up close to Star and Sapphire.
Sapphire began to clean Cerulean.
Cerulean nickered softly.
Star started to clean Sapphire.
Sapphire smiled.
Cerulean went to sleep.

2666.png
Sapphire woke up. She stretched and yawned.
Star woke and realized she couldn't move.
Sapphire looked at Star. "What's wrong?"
Cerulean climbed to her feet, shaking herself. She looked at Star, nickering in concern.
"Feet are still asleep." Star said gritting her teeth at the pins and needles.
Cerulean snorted softly; that was a new one on her.
Star made it to her feet and shook her head.
Star nickered.
Moon nickered to Sapphire,Star and Cerulean. He began to graze.
Star nicked and walked over to graze near him.
Sapphire smiled and followed. "Are you better now?" She asked in concern.
"Yes, thank you" Star said, smiling.
Cerulean was watching Moon; she wanted to greet him but was shy about it.
Moon grazed in his field.
Cerulean approached Moon, nickering.
Moon nickered and perked his ears.

Later that day, Star, Cerulean and Sapphire all became his mares.

Chapter 6
Helio galloped around and stopped. He kicked and kept galloping.
Monsoon's ears swiveled, easily picking up the sound of pounding hooves. Whinnying for her twin to follow, she broke into a gallop. In seconds, Typhoon was galloping at her heels.
Helio reared and galloped towards them.
Monsoon slid to a stop, nostrils flaring. She wanted to take in Helio's scent before actually dealing with him. Beside her, Typhoon tossed her head anxiously. It had been a long while since they'd last seen a stud.
Helio stopped, his ears perked, looking at Monsoon. He flared his nostrils as well.
A mare, he thought and smelled.
Monsoon didn't move but stood motionless, returning the look Helio was giving her.
I don't like him, Monsoon, Typhoon thought. Aloud, she said, "Monsoon, let's just go."
Helio just stood their, looking at her. He shot a glance at Typhoon.
Monsoon studied the stallion a bit longer then conceded to agree with her twin. Something wasn't...right about Helio, and Typhoon could feel it.
"You're right, Typhoon," Monsoon said. She nudged her twin along, following. "Let's go."
Capriconis saw a stallion and two mares. His herd was not far. He had smelled the stallion and went to deal with him. Maybe the mares would come too. He let out a challenge.
Typhoon froze, her nostrils flaring. "There's another one!"
Monsoon had her eyes on Helio, but she'd also winded the other stud.
Capriconis trotted down. He shook his mane and looked at the mares. He saw Helio. Helio had injured him when he was a colt. " Get gone Helio."
Typhoon and Monsoon, standing in a huddle, stared at Capriconis. Typhoon touched her muzzle to her twin's withers. "Monsoon, let's go while neither of them are looking."
Helio ignored Capriconis and trotted of in Monsoon's direction. " Hey there!" not so fast!"
Monsoon kept herself in front of Typhoon. She looked at Helio. "What do you want?"
Typhoon peeked around her twin. "Yeah! Go away!"
Capriconis ran at Helio. He snorted and stomped trying to scare him away.
Helio ignored him.

Timeskip

Helio nuzzled his two new mares, Typhoon and Monsoon. "Now follow me!" he said.
Monsoon was eager to follow, but Typhoon was dragging her hooves.

Helio stopped at an oasis. It had palm trees, and the softest sand, and the bluest water.
Desert-oasis.jpg

Monsoon headed for a drink.
Typhoon stood and stared.
Capriconis saw the oasis and lead his herd there to drink.
Helio drank some water. He went into it. Helio saw capriconis and pinned his ears. "GET AWAY!" he said still in the water.
Typhoon turned to see Capriconis.
Capriconis whinnied a challenge. " Make me, my mare and foals are going to drink here, we haven't seen water in two days."

" Well I came here first, this is my oasis herd, these are my mares, and you're intruding!" he stepped out of the oasis and kicked out at Capriconis. "Now if you don't scadaddle, next time I'm kicking your head!"
Capriconis reared and snorted. He lunged out at Helio and bit his neck.
Helio kicked him in his side. "I'LL KILL YOU AND TAKE YOUR MARES IF YOU DON"T GET!
Monsoon and Typhoon had trotted out of the studs' ways.
Capriconis snorted. " Never, the desert is my territory if you want it then come get it." He reared.
Typhoon watched Capriconis. She was impressed. Monsoon approached her. "We already have a mate, Typhoon."
"This is my territory!" he ran to him and kicked his forehead.
Capriconis snorted and backed away. He slashed his hooves at Helio.
Helio dodged the kick and kicked Capricornis's side twice.
Capriconis snorted and backed as the hooves hit his side. He lunged again this time grabbing Helios mane.
Helio didn't mind the pain. he was going to fight for his herd. "IF YOU DON'T MOVE ON I'M GONNA STEAL YOUR MARES!!!!"
In the herd, Sun and Fire whatched it. " Capriconis! Please move on," said Sun. " You're intruding."
Capriconis snorted. He turned and started to run. "I'll meet you again! And next time it won't be an easy win!" he snorted.
Typhoon whinnied after Capriconis. She had found that stud attractive.
Monsoon rolled her eyes and stood by her sister.
Helio ran after him. "You won't be coming back!" he kicked Capriconis and then galloped towards his two mares. He nickered softly to them and nuzzled Typhoon. "I love you, and you too, Monsoon."
"Don't mind Typhoon. She doesn't like studs all that much," Monsoon said. She snorted at her sister. "So why you're staring after him is a mystery."
" I would never mind my mares," he said. "And if that snooty, selfish Capriconis keeps it up, I'll kill 'em and take his mares."

"You wouldn't mind your mares? So...what, nothing I say means anything to you?" Typhoon snorted.
"You sound like any other stallion. Kill other studs, take their mares," said Monsoon.

Tsunami saw an Oasis and headed toward it. She saw a stud and two mares. Maybe they will take me, she thought.

" What I mean is, I wouldn't mind if you did anything," he said. " I mean I don't mind what my mares do." he paused. "But I mind my mares," he chuckled. "Get it?" he laughed harder.
Typhoon didn't follow much of what Helio said, but she didn't tell him that.
Helio drank a little out of the oasis and then jumped in again. He swam around in it and then stood on the hot sand again.
Monsoon spotted Tsunami and snorted. "Figures. I'm his first mare, and suddenly, now more are gonna show up."
As she moved off, Typhoon followed, saying, "Jealous."

Chapter 7
Tsunami trotted up to Helio at the oasis. She dipped her head to drink.
Helio looked at her.
Tsunami lifted her head. " Hello." she snorted.
Helio, somewhat scared and surprised of this mare, trotted to his other two mares. "She's part of that desert herd, I know it! That Capriconis sent her to make trouble. C'mon, sweetie!" he nudged his mares.
Monsoon and Typhoon both moved off together, letting Helio nudge them along.
The lead stallion walked into the desert. He stopped when he saw Capriconis and his herd. " Ugh! Not him! " he stared at the sight.
Tsunami whinnied. " But I'm not! I swear. Please don't kick me away I need a herd. I have no idea who this Capriconis is you speak of is."

Capriconis raised his head and snorted to his mares to group together. " Get out of Desert Herd territory Helio."
Helio reared and pinned his ears back. "You came into my territory, I'll come into yours!" he snorted and began to trot back to the oasis. "What did you say?" he said to Tsunami, looking back to see if Monsoon and Typhoon were coming.
" I said I have no idea who this Capriconis is but I need a herd." Tsunami said to Helio.
Monsoon followed Helio; Typhoon trotted behind her.
Tsunami looked at him with hopeful eyes. "Can I join?" she asked.
Helio looked at the mare. "Just one moment. I have to speak with my mares first." he turned to Monsoon and Typhoon. "Would you mind her joining the herd?" he asked.

What does it matter what we want? Stallions tend to collect mares," said Typhoon.
Monsoon shook her head. "What she said."
Helio sighed. "But I'm only going to do something if it makes you two happy. I swear, I want you to be pleased with my actions, and--"
Monsoon tossed her head. "It's fine. Just remember and tell her, I'm favorite. I'm boss."
"Big surprise," Typhoon grumbled. She looked at Helio. "What she said."
Helio turned to Tsunami. "You may join, but remember your place. Monsoon is boss around here."
"Thank you so much, I know I'm just a mare but ill always remember my place." Tsunami jumped around like a new foal.
Helio tossed his mane.
Monsoon stopped, and Typhoon came up alongside. "When did we leave the lush fields and end-up here?"
"You were leading. Don't you know?" Typhoon snorted.
Helio sneezed from all the dust. It was dusk and the sun was going to set soon. "Let's go back to that oasis. There's some dried out grass there." he said.
"I know you're just a stud, but think, Helio!" Monsoon snapped. "Typhoon and I cannot nourish ourselves and unborn foals on meager patches of dry grass."
"Your oasis can't sustain your herd," said Typhoon. "We'll have to leave or starve."
"Or we'll likely abort your foals," finished Monsoon.
"Capriconis and
his herd sure do manage. But if you wish, my dears." Helio thought it foolish to leave a perfectly good oasis but started to walk. He saw what looked like a grove of trees.
"Maybe we forgot to mention..." Monsoon snorted.
"But we were just traveling through this desert when you found us," continued Typhoon.
"We're used to lush green pastures," Monsoon finished firmly.
"I understand. I was just born in a dry old desert." he continued to walk.
"We come from a lush valley. When our sire kicked us out, we started looking for another." Monsoon moved to walk ahead of Helio.
"So, here we are." Typhoon followed her sister.
Helio shook his mane as he continued walking. He started to think about the story of him and Lunar.
They might both be dead for all I know, he muttered loud enough for the three to hear.
Monsoon was distracted, leading the way, but Typhoon looked over at Helio.
Helio shook his head to try and get rid of that evil story. "They might have even been caught by cowboys," he said aloud.
Tsunami trotted up to Helio. " So have you always been a desert horse?"
"Yes. I was born in the desert." he swished his tail.
"Were you born in a herd? And why did you stay here?" Tsunami asked.
" I was born in desert herd," he began, talking to all three. "The lead mare, Dancing Fire, was my dam, and another stallion was my sire. I hated Capriconis. He was always....I don't know how to explain it. So bossy. I loved Fire so much, and didn't want to leave her, and vice versa.
" Capriconis hated me because he wasn't my father. He told me to get out of the herd when I wasn't one year old. I swore not to leave. I loved all my family dearly. So I challenged him in a fight, and injured his neck. Then he said if I didn't leave he'd kick my head till I died. I left immediately. I became a bitter and nasty stallion. I always wanted to fight, always wanted to snake away some mare, always wanted to cause trouble. But when I meant you, Monsoon, I...you...you softened my heart." he stopped there.
Monsoon listened, her eyes softening as Helio spoke. When he went quiet, she said, "I've never had a softening affect on anyone, Helio. I'm flattered."
"I'm just dumbfounded," Typhoon said. "Bossy Monsoon makes a stallion feel love."
Helio tried to hold back a tear but it ran down his face. "I shouldn't be...be so..sad," he said. "I have you, my Monsoon and Typhoon and Tsunami."
" Oh.. I take it you want to get back at Capriconis right." Tsunami replied.

"I sure do." Helio snorted.
" I can help you get back at Capriconis!" Tsunami said. " He has a mare named Dawn who just had a filly. She is Capriconis's only foal of his blood now. She often wanders. I can kidnap her and you can bargain with her."
Helio perked his ears and stopped for a second to think. "Bargain with her to do what?"
" I don't know, you could keep here for yourself to just get back at him." Tsunami said.
"Yeah." he kept walking. Helio started to gallop across the desert.
" Do you want me to get her?!" Tsunami said.
" Of course! Yes!" Helio smirked.
Tsunami ran off. She saw desert herd in the distance and far away from it, chasing a fenec fox was Dusky Sun.
" Hello little one," Tsunami said. Before the foal could run Tsunami blocked her. " I'm Tsunami. Now come with me." She herded Dusk away. She soon came apon Helio. " Here she is, Dusky Sun."

"Hello," said Helio. He reached down to nuzzle the foal, trying to tell her to not be scared. "I'm Helio, and this is Tsunami, Monsoon and Typhoon."
" You bad horse", Dusk said and started backing away she had heard stories of this horse.
" Now, now," said Helio. "I'll tell you the real story." he began. "I was born to Fire, the lead mare of the desert herd. You know Sun,don't you? Me and Fire were attached. Capriconis hated me because I wasn't his offspring. Before it was time to leave the herd, because the lead stallion can be the only male in the herd, he kicked me out before it was time. Fire told me to defend myself. I did, and injured Capriconis's neck in a fight. He said if I didn't leave he'd crush my skull into powder. So I did, and we've hated each other ever since."
" My Daddy's not bad horse, but If you a good horse then okay", she turned to the other mares. " Are there no other foals?"
"There will soon be three," he said triumphantly.
" Wow, that's a lot, back home I just have Sun, Fire's new filly." Dusk looked up. " My daddy isn't Fire's father though. I don't know who is."

"Fire had a new foal?" he said astounded.
" Yes, Sun looks just like her." Dusk liked these new horses a lot. Better than back at her old herd. All there was was Sun, crazy Hot Choclate, Fire and her mother and father. Here there would be 3 foals and the mares were nice as well as the stallion at this herd.
Helio nickered softly. "How old are you?" he inquired.
" A month and a few days, mom says I'm 10 weeks but if you say your a month and a few days it makes you sound older." Dusk started prancing around she was incredibly hyperactive and couldn't sit still for long.
Helio started to prance around with her. Tsunami was Helio's mare now and Dusky Sun was the new filly at Oasis herd.

( sorry about the title, scratch that. I'm calling this book: Life in the Horse Herds: A Mustang Story )

Chapter 8
Arrow came back to Valley herd after her day of exploring. Zelda and Red whinnied a greeting to Arrow. Arrow nickered back. She was starting to warm up and like this herd.
Red galloped over, sliding to a stop in front of Arrow and smiling. "Hi, again." She said happily.
Arrow replied to Red, "Hello!"
"Wanna play?" Red asked eagerly.

"Sure!" Arrow said.
Red smiled and turned to run.
Arrow neighed and dashed after her.
Red tossed her head and turned quickly, one direction, then another.
Arrow kept pace with Red and was right behind her.
Red turned again, running around the herd.
Arrow stumbled but regained her balance, though was a little further behind. Her hooves pounded the ground as she ran.
Red glanced back, surprised to be outracing the older filly. She smiled and ran on, turning when she reached the other side of the herd. She slowed, getting tired.

Arrow picked up speed. She was saving most of her energy until she noticed Red was slowing. She dashed forward and nudged Red lightly,"Got ya!"
Red grinned, and slowed to a stop, panting.
"You're pretty fast for being younger," Arrow commented.
Red couldn't stop smiling. "Thank you, but you still caught me!"

"Yeah, but it was fun!" Arrow said.
"Yes, it was." Red reared playfully, having regained her breath.
"What do you want to do now?" Arrow asked, smiling.
"I don't know, what do you want to do?" She asked curiously.
Arrow thought and said,"We could play hide and seek?"
Red grinned. "Okay, who hides first?"
"I will! " Arrow said.
"Okay!" Red lowered her head and closed her eyes.
Arrow trotted off looking for a spot. She spotted a small bush and laid down behind it.

Red raised her head after a while and looked around. She started trotting around, searching for a place that Arrow would be able to hide.
Arrow hid well by the bush and couldn't be seen.
Zelda and Red stood in the center of the herd, waiting. Finally Arrow showed herself, snickering that nobody found her.

Star looked around her small herd, it was growing quickly and she was happy.
Cerulean neared Star, nickering softly. Friendly and shy, the blue roan just wanted a friend.
Star nickered to Cerulean. "Hi." She smiled softly.
Cerulean kept nickering softly. "Hi," she said. "Do you mind if I tag-along?"
Star looked around, then back to Cerulean. "Do you want to race?" She asked softly.
"Sure." Cerulean tossed her head. She'd never raced before, shyness keeping her from nearing the other horses.
Star grinned and looked around. "To that tree." She said turning to face the tree. "Ready?"
"I'm ready." Cerulean was pawing the ground, actually looking forward to this.
Star smiled and called, "Go!" She set off after a moment, running for the shear joy of it.
Cerulean broke into a gallop, the wind whipping her mane out behind her.
Moon brought his head up. He galloped after them.
Star grinned glancing around. She saw that Moon had joined the race. They were nearing the tree that marked the finish line.
Moon put all his strength into running. He passed Star and grinned at her. His mane almost stuck straight into the air.
Star grinned, passed Moon again and galloped to the tree. Once past the tree she slowed to a stop, circling around to stand under it.
When Moon reached Star he stood under the tree with her. He nickered.
Star nickered and looked around for Sapphire and Cerulean.
Cerulean came up, slowing to a trot. Reaching Moon and Star, she said, "Guess I lose. Not my best race. Just my first race." She snorted at Star, her eyes playful. "Shall we go again?"
" Yes, shall we?" Moon replied quickly. He loved running.
Cerulean half-reared in excitement and turned around. "Let's." She sped off at a full-gallop, determined not to be the loser this time.
Moon galloped after her. In seconds he was running neck-and-neck with her.
Cerulean swung her head, trying to bite Moon and make him fall behind. She tossed her head and galloped harder, her hooves thundering against the ground.
Sapphire watched them. She had no time to even bond with Moon. She sighed unhappily, feeling left out.
Cerulean couldn't gallop any faster, so she started falling behind.
Moon started falling behind too. He found himself right beside her.
Star nickered to Sapphire.
Cerulean squealed playfully and leaped over into Moon's space.
Sapphire walked over to Star, her head low to the ground.
"What's wrong?" Star asked gently.
"It's just..." Sapphire paused. "I don't have any time to bond with Moon! He's spending all his time with Cerulean!" She blurted out.
Moon fell a foot behind Cerulean on purpose. He thought he heard a mare. He stopped, sweat coming down his neck.
Sapphire watched him. "Maybe this is my chance to get to know him," she said to herself.
Moon shook and began to graze.
Sapphire approached him carefully.
Cerulean slowed and turned. Apparently, she'd won, or Moon had just dropped out. At a trot, she returned to where she'd last seen Star and Sapphire.
Moon brought his head up and looked at Sapphire, his ears perked. He trotted over. "Sapphire, I'm sorry I've been ignoring you. it's just that I...I'm not used to having a whole lot of mares!" he nickered to her.
Sapphire nodded. "It's just like, Star is lead mare, Cerulean is the newest, and here I am sandwiched between them." She said.
He nuzzled her withers, trying to tickle her.
Star watched the two, smiling. She went to graze nearby, happy.
Sapphire laughed. She licked his cheek.

Time-skip

Moon began to walk.
Sapphire nickered to him. She was happy that she was going to be a mother.
"Wanna race?" he said.
Sapphire winked. She ran as fast as her legs could take her.
" To the pine tree!" he yelled and galloped faster.
Sapphire laughed.
Cerulean whinnied out for Star, Moon or Sapphire.
Moon stopped at the pine tree. "Beat ya!" he said.
Sapphire snorted. "I'll beat you back!" She said as she began running back. That time, she won.

Chapter 9
Star nickered, lifting her head from grazing and looking to Cerulean.
Cerulean neared Star, dropping her head to graze. "Are you carrying Moon's foal, too?" she asked politely.
Star nodded "Yes, it will be my first, too!" she said excitedly.
"Am I that obvious?" Cerulean asked. "How did you know this is my first foal?"
Star looked to Cerulean. "I meant Moon and my first foal." She grinned.
Sapphire got back to everyone. "Um guys I need to tell you something," She paused. "I'm going to have a foal," She told them.
"Yours too? " Star looked to Sapphire when she came up. "So we will all foal together. Will it be your first as well, Sapphire?"
Sapphire nodded. "Yes. They will all have someone to play with," She smiled.
Cerulean smiled. "Moon's going to have foals running all over the place."
Star laughed softly picturing foals running all over. She nodded and looked over to Moon, who had began to graze, smiling.
Cerulean lowered her head and grazed.
Star started to graze again, still smiling.
Moon trotted over.
Sapphire smiled. "You are going to have three little foals," She laughed.
Moon tossed his head happily. " Three little foals!"
Star smiled, watching her herd happily.
"Three? That's only if everyone's survives," Cerulean said, stating bleak reality. "On the other hoof, we could all have twins."
Star smiled. "That would be something, if we each had twins." She said and shook her mane.
Cerulean smiled back. "We could all make Moon's life chaotic and deliver triplets."
"Impossible," Moon stated with a grin.
Star laughed at that thought. "Nine foals? Wow."
"I hope not," Cerulean admitted. "It'd be hard to nurse that many."
Star nodded. "Yes, and none would get enough attention."
Cerulean felt her grin widening. "I could just hear the 'she did this', 'he bit me', 'she tried to trip me', 'he kicked me'."
Star nodded, laughing again.
Moon listened to the conversation, smiling.
"I'd be happy with one foal," said Cerulean and dropped her head to graze.
Star nodded. "I will be happy with a healthy foal."
Cerulean agreed with a shake of her head.
Star smiled and started to graze again.
Sapphire smiled. "I would be happy with one foal. Two would be to much for me," she laughed.
Star laughed gently. "Yeah, after all ours would have each other to play with."
"Yup. Be prepared for some arguing," She laughed.
Star laughed gently, nodding again.
Moon grazed, flicking his tail back and forth. He smelled something--horses. Moon sniffed the air.
Star grazed contentedly.
Moon brought his head up. He snorted.
Star lifted her head and looked to Moon, nickering.
Moon looked at Star. He nickered back.
Star approached Moon to nuzzle him.
Moon gently blew his warm breath on Star. He nipped on her mane.
Star nickered gently.
Moon nickered and snorted again. He looked into the distance where he saw a white mare.

Lunar, a few miles away from Moon's herd, saw him vaguely. The story of her, Helio and her foal still haunted and frightened her.

Star looked up noticing the white mare, and she whinnied.
Moon tossed his head, for he had a slight earring.

Lunar reared.

Star turned towards Lunar, glancing to Moon.
Moon saw the mare and began to slowly approach her.
Lunar saw the stallion coming and backed off a little. A tear ran down her cheek as she remembered her frightening story.
Star stood near the herd, watching Lunar and Moon.
Sapphire stood next to Star. She was her best friend, and was her first friend. "Who's that?" She snorted, talking about Lunar.
Star snorted "I don't know, Moon has gone to find out." She replied .

Moon trotted down the field. "Hello!" he called to the mare.
Lunar pawed the ground. She tossed her head, and seeing that it was a bay stallion like Helio, backed off and reared. "Get away, Helio!"

Cerulean stood near Star, waiting for word from Moon.

Moon nickered. "But I'm not Helio! I'm Moon of field herd. I don't know who this Helio is you speak of."
Lunar snorted. "I don't believe you!" she reared and whinnied.
Star whinnied, moving closer to the pair. She glanced back to Cerulean and Sapphire.
Moon walked closer. "I'm Moon, and this is my mate, Star. Isn't that right Star?"
Star smiled and nodded. "That is right, Cerulean and Sapphire are the other mares." She said motioning to the other two mares.
Lunar perked her ears. "I'm so sorry! " she said, blushing.
Star bobbed her head and smiled "It's okay, I take it this 'Helio' looks like Moon."
Cerulean stood near Star, nodding when she heard Star introduce her.
"Um, yes, um, he's brown." Lunar replied to Star. "And evil." she added impulsively.
Moon walked up to the mare. "What's your name?"
"Lunar."
"Well, Moon is definitely not evil." Star said smiling.

Moon nuzzled Lunar.

( after a few minutes)

Moon nickered and Lunar tossed her head playfully. She walked up to Star. "Are you going to have his foal too?" she asked.
Star nodded. "Yes I am." She said happily.
"So am I!" she said.
Cerulean listened, smiling inwardly. Any mare Moon found was to have his foal.
Moon smiled. His herd was probably going to be the largest and most prosperous.
