I was out and about in the yard with the chickens as they free ranged when I got to meet an interesting wild visitor.

Notice anything out of the ordinary?

    Take a closer look

    A bald eagle!

My camera has a terrible zoom, so I couldn't get a close up of his majestic exit

Last picture as he swung around and then left heading towards the Bark River

I thought it was pretty cool. I am in the wilderness, so seeing critters like this isn't unusual. I just usually don't have a camera with me.

Ya you caught him just in time or it might not have been so pretty. Seems like he was looking over lunch.

You had an Eagle in your tree! How cool is that? Not many people can claim they've had a Bald Eagle in their back yard, can they?
