LadyHawk is going to love this black Silkie chick. Little stinker excels at spilling water bowls and just generally getting into trouble...
 
It was fabulous! I'll have to put my birds on a diet after the wonderful goodies she brought them! We had a great time. I was so happy that Beth got to come to supper--she even brought gift buckets for us both, each with a can of mackerel for the chickens! Ladyhawk left a bit ago with the 7-week-old black Orp pair and Delilah for Thor's harem. Nugget is a tad confused with her two babies missing, but we left her with Meg's son so she isn't heartbroken. The only thing that could have made it better is if it was fall and not this sweltering, soupy weather.
 
LadyHawk made it safely to my house, and is probably wandering around with DD taking pictures of all my birds as I sit at work (

The plot is to take one of the silkies secretly back to Cyn's and leave it on the doorstep in a nice basket with a bow and pathetic note to succor the orphan. . . .
