Wildlife experts: What kind of animal is this? ~New Pics page 11~

I have trapped many coons with half or stubby tails, but never one with no tail at all. All that I have caught with bobbed tails have been boars. Think this is a result of them fighting over sows or territories? The ears are wrong for a coon, but I have also caught coons (again boars) with chewed off or non-existant ears. Too small for a bear cub at this time of year. I'm back to my original guess of tail less boar coon.

It really looks like a bear to me except for that back foot. WTH!?!?!

ETA: Thinking of getting a game cam. Do you mind me asking where you can get that model and about how much do they run?

Could it be someones pet capybara loose. Thats not a beavers back foot and I don't see a tail like a groundhog/nutria. My only other guess is a tail-less mammal of some kind.

A capybara has webbed feet. and looking at a photo of a bear cub, it's feet look much bigger and wider than the foot in the cam picture.

hmm, I'm really curious to know what it is! Hopefully you'll catch it on camera again!
