Pics
Incredible pictures!
We have a camera -- don't ask me what kind, I only know that it's a Nikon -- and I've taken pictures with it, but I don't know how to get them onto my computer... uploading is the job of the techie sibling, and I'm pretty lost on it, haha!
I'll try to get some pictures of the wildlife... we have chipmunks and several butterflies around here, and I could get some little songbirds if we had seeds in the feeder....
And then there's the chickens. But those are pets. The guineas, too.
Anyway, beautiful pictures!

While walking our dogs this morning I found another butterfly/moth. I have no idea what it is this time though!

Wow! That's a lot!!! I can never seem to grow tomatoes! How do you do it?! I have one sprout that is about an inch tall... but that's all. Our peas are good though!
I have a feeling that it is impossible for you to take a bad picture, even of pests!

This is my first year with tomatoes and gardening in general. I bought these as young plants from Lowe's but next year I'm going to start from seed I think. I'm having blight and pests problems right now and the only plant's I've harvested from are a couple cherry tomato plants. I'm hoping these plants will continue to grow and I can overcome the pest and disease problems, time will tell. My squash plants have been producing though.

Haha, I've taken thousands, probably tens of thousands of "bad" pics. But I finally figured out what makes a good pic good so I work really hard on doing everything right regarding lighting, composition, focus, how to reposition so the background works in your favor, etc. I'm far from a professional but I've come a long way in the last couple years. I can give a basic crash course of what has helped me the most if anyone's interested.... just let me know, I like helping folks out and talking photography.

I used those extension tubes I mentioned earlier and the problem with them is the area in focus is super narrow, especially when it is overcast outside. So I bet I took 20 something pics of that caterpillar moving the camera forward and backward ever so slightly (no tripod) to end up with 1 picture where his head was in focus, lol.

I don't have an actual camera yet, but maybe eventually... I would enjoy your "basic crash course"! It takes me about 100 pictures to get a good one,

Hmm... why is it showing up SO far away... my camera is literally on it!... Okay, finally close enough... and it won't focus. Oh! It focused!... never mind :flARRRRRRRRRG!!! ............................................

That is every picture experience, extremely ANNOYING! But once (if) you get a good one, it is totally worth it!
