Will 1 chick be ok by itself?

I'm not going to put them together any time soon. I am hoping to be able to keep the older ones inside long enough that they can all go into the new coop together. I absolutely plan on introducing them first and supervising any interaction. I know people integrate different ages all time, I just don't know if they will gang up on just one lone chick though.

What breed is your chick????? I have never seen one with such big eyes!

A few thoughts: You might, if you are brave, try contacting an Amish church (no phones, of course, but maybe a note in a mailbox) asking if any one can help you. Leave your phone number and your address there. A lot of Amish around us in Delaware have cell phones or phone message machines in little huts between their houses to share -- they just can't have them in the house. I'll bet someone will take pity on you. Or look on/ advertise on Craig's list, order a few chicks from My Pet Chicken. Or try posting on different forums on BYC and try to find someone nearby you who will help you out. Good luck!!!!!

Its a turken!!!
We have lots of Amish around, I guess I could try stopping at some farms, especially the ones that have eggs and veggies and see if they have chicks. I would just worry about a strange chick getting this one sick.
I already tried craigslist, no luck.
