Will A Nurture Right 360 Work For Quail Eggs?

In case anyone comes around here at this late date looking for options, there is a business on Etsy that sells quail egg turners for $28/incl. shipping. It holds 45 eggs. I purchased two from her and they turned my eggs beautifully.

“ThatChickPrinter” is the name to search on Etsy. She was pretty new to the game when I found her but I just peeped her account and it looks like others have had success with the turners as well.

Happy Hatching!!
I printed that same turner. It’s a bit tight for big eggs, my Myshire snowie line do not all fit and turn properly. Other than that it worked great. I’m planning to try to make the diameter proportionally larger, but keep the d notch in the center the same size.

I’m so impressed that you know how to do this!! Makes me want to get one of these printers and make all the things.

I did have a few larger eggs that needed to be shifted around, some of the slots were bigger than others so with a little bit of Tetris, I managed.

Also, this seller has sold 75 turners in a month. If you’re inclined, you could make some dough!

I put all the biggest ones in the center, but almost all of the eggs are pretty fat around and many weren’t turning well. The hatch went ok, I’d say a few more late quitters than usual, but there are a lot of factors, like the extremely cold weather might have damaged the eggs before I brought them in, or any other little thing. It wasn’t like oh no half of them died, it was like 37 or so out of 46 hatched, I hand turned a big one that I balanced on the center haha. I think 4 or 5 were early quitters, which I’m sure was due to the cold, someone laid early and they sat too long before I got them, in 23 degrees.

I’m hoping to figure out how to do it. I guess the biggest problem is fitting it in the size parameters of the print area. I might have to break it to 4 pieces, and I think that might be over my head. So far I’ve basically googled how to do the things I want and just followed step by step.

You’re definitely onto something.

The turners I purchased came in thirds that needed to be assembled. She included three clips per side and recommended we glue them together as well. I found the clips to be sufficient.

I have hoped to do that, I wanted to be sure it works well first. I would feel guilty selling it, if it doesn’t work. I just had my first hatch with it.
I totally understand that!

She had only sold a handful when I purchased mine. The second one didn’t seat properly and squished 6 of my eggs. Fortunately I had received 5x the amount of eggs I had purchased so instead of getting heated, I helped her figure out what was wrong.

She halted sales until the turner was perfected and seems to be really successful now.

She’s the only game in town. I think you could do it!!

Yes mine prints as 3 pieces also. But there’s certainly more room in the incubator that it could be a bit larger. So I hope to work it all out.
