Will a peahen accept other chicks?

I have a broody peahen sitting on infertile eggs. She's been sitting about 3 weeks. I found a person who just hatched some peachicks. I was going to try to sneak a few babies under her in the next few nights. Do you think she will accept them as her own? Poor momma wants babies. I hate to break it to her that her eggs won't hatch.

I had that happen to one of my hens last year and the year before that. I gave them eggs that were pipping, some internally and some external pipping. I have also had hens steal chicks from another hen but that was her idea, I am not sure that giving a hen dry chicks from elsewhere would work but it could. Be sure to leave a couple of eggs under her when you slip the new chicks under her.
