Will chicken eat caulk?

Its safe to say they will. Mine eat the insulation on the ceiling of the coop, and the ducks eat the foam caulk in their coop. That can't be healthy to eat eggs made from building materials

Mine don't touch the caulking I have in the seams of my coop, but sure as heck how they love blue rigid insulation. I expanded their run under my coop and didn't realize they could do that funny as hell chicken jump and peck a piece at a time. I got home and kept hearing this odd knocking noise like popping shipping bubbles. Six chickens ate an entire 2' X 3' piece while I was at work. It still amazes me. What really scared me is I collected their poop to look for blue granules..I found none.

May be able to use Liquid Nails, it can be gnawed through over time but its rock solid and binds very well.

I've found chickens will eat and destroy in my journey:

Caulk
Pink Insulation
Spray Foam Insulation
Rigid Insulation
Particle Board
Foam of any sort
Liquid Filler
Any kind of Hardening Sealant

I was wondering about that as I sealed the top of their coop with liquid nail. I never though about them possibly eating it. I was going to use caulk but had a tube of liquid nail open and it was too cold out to use the caulk. The rain was seeping in through where the boards meet.
