Geese will not/do not eat fish. If the fish are very large I doubt the ducks would be doing it...unless they are some huge ducks. I still think it's a Raccoon. It could also be a large snake or a cat, too. How big are/were the fish?
Years ago I caught a garter snake in the office building where I work. Everyone else was running away horrified - snakes intrique me. Anyway, it was too cold to put it outside (it was Nebraska) so I kept it in my office in a fruit ripening bowl which was like a huge, clear, globe. I fed the snake feeder gold fish & guppies throughout the winter and then let it go near a stream in the Spring when the weather turned warmer.
BTW: One of the guppies had babies...then the office had to spring for a fancy fish tank which we then kept in our lobby...circle of life!
