Will he be okay?

Today I accidentally let one of my button quail out and I was wondering if he'd be okay..I could NOT find him anywhere and then I hit the place he was hiding and he ran out and I almost caught him with a hat and he escaped. He can fly SO high and blends in SO well.He flew over 5 ft and I'm sure he could fly higher..I'm not really worried about predators but I need someone to tell me he'll be okay..

If he can fly good he could make it. Are you gonna look for him in the morning? I would set a live trap with food in it.

If he is outside in the wilderness....I would go looking. There are nighttime predators that could get him. When I lose a button outdoors I look very carefully in the grass because they camoflage nice in there, the hens especially. If he can hear the other buttons, maybe he will call back? Also you can make sounds of something he recognizes or have food near by. It's tough with buttons, I hope he is ok!!!!

I set the trap and caught a opossum!! No sign of the quail tho...
