People. History shows us that the wording of anything will be stretched and altered by the most bizarre logic to mean whatever the bureaucrats want it to mean. Case in point: the infamous "general welfare" clause. This bill is so vague they don't really need to stretch it that much.
They may realize that the American people can only be pushed so far. Or they might find out that the American people are willing to hand over all responsibility to the Federal Government, and are willing to sacrifice any amount of freedom for so-called "safety" and "security."
