We had wind and cold (-9F last night). Well ventilated coop, no insulation. We usually have the low window cracked open, but did close it for this cold spell due to wind direction- all eaves are open for ventilation on both sides of the roof. They chose not to go out much yeasterday. Thinking today might be similar. Yesterday I made them a “treat” of rehydrated alfalfa cube and mash made from their feed. They gobbled it down! This way they ate a good bit, but still got their balanced feed, with some greens mixed in.
