I have a bag full of grounded grains, they seem pretty fine to me. Just wanted to know whether this will need grit for baby chicks and grown chickens.

Dang that is ground up small. Grit goes good with about anything, but I’ve rarely ever used it. With pieces that small you should be fine. I do recommend adding something else to it as corn itself does not have a lot of nutritional value, especially for chicks.

Thanks, I do have chick starter for my chicks, just thinking about supplementing there diet with something.

My chicks get fed only Medicated Start & Grow for 10 weeks.
At least 4 of 7 Barred Rocks are laying at 22 weeks. 20190113_133048.jpg .GC

ETA; Grit yes. I offered them Chick Grit at 2 weeks mixed in feed, 1 1/4 pounds to 50 pounds of feed and Poultry Grit separately around 7 weeks.
When outside they would eat grass, bugs, and earthworms.
