Will this work for Pigeons

Well I am wondering if this will work for a nest bowl for my kings, as I am new to pigeons I had no idea what size to buy.. This is a large dog food bowl

Yeah, that should work just fine. Maybe drill a few holes in the bottom (1/4") for moisture to escape.

I've always used a dog bowl for mine and it works great. Everyone thinks its nuts, but oh well. Its easy to clean! Just make sure you provide them with nesting materials so the babies legs dont splay out due to the slippery footing. I always just put shavings in the bowl after the babies hatch because the parents build a pretty shabby nest on their own.

I would put a couple of holes in the bottom also. In the heat of the summer the parents give a lot of water to the chicks.
