The air sac is where it should be. No worries. In the picture they just used a basic oval shape but it should be at the fat end. If you take a pencil or some thing and mark The outline of the air cell, you can assess if it is getting larger as due date approaches. That is what you want. You would then know that it is likely progressing well since you are not able to candle in full darkness.

Today, digger has hatched five of her seven but they managed to smother the first one in the heat. My Bantam his hatched two of her three ducklings so far. We have three more eggs to go in total!

yuban container was for mama duck so ducklings couldn’t get inside. This is the one I use for ducklings

Follow Up: Since we only have one egg, and since viability is still questionable, BUT because we are getting close, I want to have some feed on hand in case we have a duckling. We feed our adult ducks Mazuri Waterfowl Maintenance, and we would prefer to feed a duckling Mazuri Water Fowl Starter, but we don't want to buy a 25lbs bag (and pay for shipping) if it's just going to go bad if we have no duckling. What is the best option for ducklings from TSC? Does anyone know anything about the Nature's Best Organic Feeds Duck Crumble?

Looks good! And listen you can feed duckling starter To all your birds I use it I mix mine after babies are grown in with layer. And while ducklings are on starter mama eats it too.

I am so glad you said that! Mine are finally eating and I was thinking um... now what?! So I did just that. Mom gets baby food lol. THANK you for clearing that lol

Not a perfect answer but I feed Dumor layer to all my birds. Babies get starter. Feeding mom and babies starter together as of today.

I kind of hoped lol. My one nesting in the woods came in today after 5 DAYS! I got her some starter cuz man is she looking rough! But I can’t get to her nest to destroy it and she is determined to sit. Almost 45 days now

45 days? Lock her up she’ll eventually get over her broodiness. That’s way to long to be sitting
