Wilton Maine Farm Swaps at Tractor Supply 2012

I can not bring myself to pack my van with birds in this heat, I do not have windows to open in the back so I would be afraid of them getting over heated. I still have the birds for sale .
I'm feeling the same way, Polly....plus I have my handicapped son, who has to sit in the car while I sell (or not sell) birds.

I live in Temple, not far from Wilton, but it's not worth suffering to sell a couple of birds :)

It was a nice day, had some cloud cover which kept the temps down. 6 vendors and lost of people buying and lots of people just looking! I sold 7 chicks and a pair of white silkies and an incubator! The money was good too! kinda made up fro yesterday!

Next swap will be July 8th at Aubuchon's Rt.4 Farmington 8am to 2pm. This should be a really Great swap, as so many people have benn enqiuring about what will be for sale! Hope to see many of you there!

Is there a swap at the Wilton TSC this Sunday - 8/19?

I have a bunch of bantam cochin cockerels to rehome for free. Also some mille fleur d'Uccles to sell.

I will be at the swap this Sunday 9/16 with some very nice RIR and NH Red pullets that just started laying this week.

I'd love to hear about this swap. it was advertised as the largest swap of the season so for those that went, do you agree, what did you see, buy, sell and are there any more swaps scheduled for this location for this yr or was that it?

Hi!

I know this is a pretty old thread, but I thought I would give it a try.

Is there anyone in the area getting ready to do any hatchings? I'm interested in purchasing about 6 hens (baby chicks) med-lg brown eggs.... I know the swaps don't start for a while and would like some early chicks, we have a warm indoor brooding area to keep them until they are ready for Spring! :)

Thanks!!!
