Wine Cooler Egg Incubator

If it goes to the triple digits and is accurate to the degree, I would just incubate using that at 100 degrees and set another digital one(battery op) inside and use it as a double check!

I`ve got about 4 dozen eggs in one that I built. So far it`s workin awesome! Temps runnin between 100 down to 98 n humidity average 70%. I`m runnin the fan from the back wall and the heater and stat below it. I put a wiggler in the bottom, temp/hygrometer on the middle shelf , and a dial thermometer from the top. So for so good. We`ll see in about 18 days or in 4 when I start to candle.

I'm fan shopping on ebay for a fancy lighted fan for this setup

Do you all think an 80mm fan is big enough for this size incubator, or should I get one of the 120mm?

I believe the larger fan running at slower speed is better than smaller fan running on faster speed, cause it moves larger volume of air gently and without unnecessary turbulence which causes uneven temperature throught the bator.

That humidity is too high according to hatcheries and such. 70%+/- for the last 3 days is OK but during the first 18 days it should be lower, maybe 55-60%.... Are these chick eggs? I've seen links saying 68%(18 days) but the consensus of most others I've seen, and folks here, is more in line to the numbers I mentioned. Good Luck!
