Wing clipping

We are new to chicks...

WE have about 32 chickens about 7 weeks old right now. We have already moved them outside to what I call a mini-coop. We also have started to let them outside of their coop/run for several hours at a time.

We fully intend to let these chickens be free-range/open-range. SHOULD I CLIP THEIR WINGS?

I thought that it might be a good idea so they stay closer to home, but then thought that they might need them to avoid predators...???
