The two birds appeared near the border. The elderly game cock pushed the younger, crimson bird with showy plumage right next to the border. "Aw, come on!" he whispered angrily to the elder. He had to deal with the forest chickens himself, knowing nothing of them and their ways. He gave a sheepish smile as he waved gingerly to the watching CycloneTail.
