I watched videos of hissing hens once. It was quite amusing. Quite traumatic for the poor owners though

It is.

My oldest hen is also my meanest, unlike how she was a couple of years ago. I think chickens start getting mean and senile when they start getting past the age of 8 yrs.

Mine devour our lettuce. And then dustbathe around the stumps.

o.o well it must be different species of lettuce. I'll just wait until the kale sprouts.
