Ah ok, I thought you were up here. I CRSNorthern indiana. The humidistat takes the inside humidity and turns the fan on once it reaches a certain level and turns it off once the humidity level has gone to an acceptable level. You can adjust it to the humidity level you would like. Its really neat but costly. About 30 bucks.

Will be interesting to see how it does...are you also monitoring outside humidity?
