I have my niece and her son will be moving out in January, I am not sure about my son his girl friend and her daughter. I need to get my butt in gear. What kind of dogs were they?

Kimmie
The two male dogs were Lab and Belgium Shepherd mix, one female was a Golden Retriever, another a German Shorthair and the third is a Rhodesian Ridgeback. And then there was my German Shepherd, Sadie who is 6 months and weighs 59 lbs already. Believe me, I had a houseful.

Wow those are big dogs!!

two are long haired and black and moving to the desert they were shedding all that WA state hair that they needed to keep warm

Wow there is a lot going on. Still need to finish my blocks *sigh* Working as a dog groomer is no fun in the season *sigh*. So tiered all the time. To relax a bit, I started a blog and today I was @ my quilting teachers house, to do some work on my Lone Star. If you want to visit my blog, you will see the work in progress

I went and looked at your Lone Star quilt. Very nice! I wanted to do one several years ago and I was just a beginning quilter then and lots of people discouraged me from it. Said it was too hard with all the diamonds and that they would stretch out of place and just be very difficult. Well, I determined not to be disuaded but then we ended up moving to another state and I never got around to it.

I read your little short stories too! The little orange boy is something of a tear jerker.

We have chows and australian shepherds. My husband got into wool rabbits recently so I am the full time groomer. Does anyone do fiber? I think I have enough here to start a sweater company.

I found that the depression era quilt shifted around a lot from all the triangles but I don't have a stretcher or anything fancy to work with. It would have been smarter to have it professionally finished but I'm not very fussy.
