Winterizing My Coup

Great idea. I live in town though and I doubt the neighbors would enjoy the smell. LOL
Mine stay in a greenhouse in winter and rarely get too frozen, maybe a thin sheet over the top that the birds easily peck through. You could also run an extension cord with a stock heater or a heated water tank.
 
I deceived to go with a heated water tank. Wrapping the coup has made a huge difference for the ladies. They are also going into the coup at night instead of on top of it.
Today, I added a light and timer to keep them making eggs regularly.
