I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother :(

Just finished my Mom's estate after 2 years :hmm
On her 90 th birthday I moved down here from my home in the desert. Sixty miles away .... I had a job so was bunking in with Grandma and my son in order to be near him and help grandma out if she needed. He was just starting college.

So No thirteen years later She was 103 My son is now thirty.... and I havent seen the inside of my house for almost seven years. Oh quick truips up to bring hay to the horse and goats but that was it.

Its been three years now since Katee moved to a retirement facility.... and I havent been up since.

Grandma is gone to a better place... The dimensia was torturing her to no end.... and she knew it on some level. We moved her to a six bed residence facility just before her birthday.... She passed just about thirty days after.

To be honest I miss the Old grandma The one that always won at cards because she kept score.... The one that Pulled The curlers out of her hair right there at the door when I popped in and asked if she wanted to see the space shuttle land at Edwards.... The one that played golf four or five times a week on a little six hold course in Escondido.

The estate will go quickly... its in a living trust and very well organized. There are only five of us.... My son and I are still living in the house. I will venture home soon as the dust is cleared. Grandpas Two Grandsons have familys and homes of their own... The house is my sons and he will sell it... Hes like me... wants to remember her when she was not so tortured....

Its not like she kept keep sakes.... she wasnt into old things.... Heck they didnt keep a car for more than two years... Always bought the newest things... Were regular donators to the good will.

When I get home I am going to install my shop in the art studio. I will also set a camera table for making good pictures of my products with good lighting and backdrops. My computer will be on that table as well. And of course since it is my bedroom Telepone internet and bed will be there as well. Did I mention my art/studio is appx 11 x 16 feet. I am adding a master bath and kitchenette as well. so I wont have to run in and out of the house to go to the bathroom.

I will do a Screen for the bed kind of for separation. It will make the room easier to heat with my oil radiator. I hope to move the pot belly down to the artstudio after getting a larger one for the main house.

The house is up on piers with a cinderblock foundation around it. The art Studio and green house room are on grade and have slab floors. The green house room is a bit larger than the art studio has drains in the floor and one wall is completely open to the outside. Its secured by a Chainling kennel panel hung on Nails. I hope to secure it better by using staples and safety wire.

It was only to keep the cats in and chickens out. but I dont want it getting bumped and falling in... LOL
