Yep there sure is a Goodwill in Marshfield, it is out by Menards/
Walmart/Aldi/V&H. If you are heading to Wausau on 97 from Marshfield, you will go right past it. Last set of stop lights (Weilers will be on the right side) and it is the next road to the left. I grew up in Marshfield (and would never move back after being away). The goodwill there is newer and larger than the old one they used to have on the south side.
It sure was not fun being broke down yesterday afternoon with a flat tire that is for sure. Especially after having hubby spend some hours in the ER earlier this week. He replaced 4 of the lugs and said the heck with it and off we went to limp the trailer home. Good thing we only had about 20 more miles to go. He put the other 4 lugs on after chores last night.
Sure is a nice breeze picking up out there this afternoon. The cows are staying in the big shed underneath a soaker hose hubby put up in the rafters for them to cool off with. Only saw them come out a couple times for drinks and to munch on a tad bit of hay, other than that... they are going to be full of poo tonight when they come in for milking.
Carol - Equity did end up taking that blind bull calf. And we think it was something strange. Possible pink eye??? Not sure... but it was clearing up a bit. No need for the seeing eye dog either... whose dog was that?? Celtics?
I have been out by the chickens quite a bit today, enjoying the shade and the breeze. Carol, those two that I got from you seemed to have sprouted more feathers on their feet the last couple days than they have had all this time. Must be all this heat that has caused the feathers to sprout, just like my garden... and the weeds!
Super super cute little buggers Mabel and Mrs. Clucky are! Whose getting the last one? Terri?
Man, sure wish I would have made the bash, after having these wonderful online chats with you all on the Cheesehead forum!
Got some graph paper the other day, in between kids getting their fair projects ready, I have drew up the inside of the new coop plans. Sure can't wait to get that under construction!
Okay, enough rambling.... DrH -hope you found a way to keep yourself indoors today! Perfect wood cutting weather!!!
Welcome to all the newbies!
And...... to anyone falling in love with those kitties. I have two cats being fostered here that really need homes. They need to go SOON! I have a black female, spayed, short hair. And a orange and white male, neutered, long hair. Both are litter trained, good with other cats, dogs and kids. Super friendly. The orange and white likes to be inside/outside (but he has been inside all week... heat must have drove him in.) and the black one is inside only. If you know of anyone that would want these cats... FREE to a good home! And, they do not have to go together.
