Exciting time to be in Oshkosh, Mother Goose!
Well, Mr. Roo has left his confinement after his run-in with the neighbor's german shepherd. He seems fine in all ways except for his limp. All of my chickens tend to form gangs. Unfortunately, Mr. Roo's gang have decided he's no longer cool. The hens who adored him are following another rooster. Really, what kind of shallow gals are these? Where's loyalty? I'm disappointed, and I feel sorry for Mr. Roo out there limping around by himself, missing a great deal of his tail and back feathers (from being shaken by the dog). Maybe I could give him steroids and muscle him up so he catches the eyes of the hens again.
