Morning all!!
DrH-Buster is still alive?! I thought you sent him to freezer camp ages ago!!! Ah well, I hope revenge will be served nicely bbq'd with a side of mashed potatoes and baked beans!
Cind-OMG!!
you new avi! Jasmine with a baby! It is soooooo cute! I made a girlie squeek when I saw it. Dh was "what was that about?" I told him: it's a pic of Jasmine and her baby"! He rolled his eyes and walked away....
Yes Georgie was a great mare so sweet and kind. Just a little angel her on Earth.
FT-What! I never said I wanted a pig!! I will say that critter is dang cute though. I do like pigs, I might be persuaded to get one- maybe. I worked with all sorts pigs when I was at the vet clinic. So yeah nope no pigs for me....
CC-I have never seen a teacup pig either. I don't think I'd ever get one just knowing how in breed those must be to get that small. True miniature pot belly pigs (Vietnamese) are about 60 to 75/80#'s. Ones that small are....hmmmm....not right. It is cute though but not $800 in cuteness. I'd rather have a miniature horse! (FT-ignore that comment!)
dk-I could do goats....I love goats....not the mini ones though. A nice boer for me.
I have to agree with your observation on the general populations "me-ness". I think it has gotten worse and will get even more so. I was a Red Lobster the other day, and this younger family with grand parents? came in with a kid who was 2 maybe 3? (Seriously!!! You take your 2 year old to a restaurant like that?) Anyway, She was still in pull ups. I know this because as the parents were talking and completely ignoring her, she was amusing herself by dancing and playing/tumbling in the isle next to your table. While she was quiet-thank goodness. I could not help but think "Wow. I hope one of her parents washes her hands before she eats since she was playing on the floor." I only thought this because her parents acted like she was not even there. So sad that parents take kids to restaurants that are not geared for them. I normally don't feel sorry for kids like that but for some reason I did for her. She seamed like a good kid that was very bored with nothing to play with or do, while her parents just ignored her. Or maybe they thought if they told her to quit playing and sit down they would have had a bored and mad kid on their hands and then the fire works would have started when they ignored her or tried to get her to behave. IDK.
Well, I've to to go take care of the critters. The hens are not happy that I'm late!
