Good evening...I am eating my black bean, chicken and rice casserole...MMMM--so good! Cilantro and cumin and lime...great combo! The rest of the people are having grilled cheese with tomato and basil and salad. I shoulda had a salad too...

I hate that. The woman didnt call me today about the turkey either...oh well. I am feeling like the pied pipeer of chickens lately...those blue Ameracaunas just follow me around everywhere since they have realized that I have the treats! I think I am winning them over with the mealworms. Now I just need to grow more! I had a mold problem in my colony and now I have only beetles! TIme will tell.

Well, I am going to get the birds in early tonight and maybe take a walk in the back field. THey took the beans down yesterday so I have another 80 acres to walk around in!

Jim--I was rereading a thread and this other guy Jeb is having problems posting pics too...he could do it on his wife's computer but not his...this is the reply he got..maybe you could try this suggestion? I really want to see some of your set up! Terri O

Obviously what you were doing was working, but since you are having trouble now, try this. Load your pics into a photo storage site, like photobucket.com. It`s free. Under your pic, click on the Img box and copy that. Paste it in the body of your text here. That`s it. Looking forward to seeing them..........Pop​

good evening, nothing much on the tube tonight..

the new peafowls went in with a little gentle herding on my part.. I was very happy about that.. I told Annie that if they gave me much trouble, I would not let them loose tomorrow.. I think they earned another day of free ranging..

I see 4 more quail in the bator.. that makes 22 total..

TerriO, or anybody else,, I can send photos to you via private emails if you want.. I tried photo bucket already, also.. no go..
It is my outdated dial-up system that is the problem.. I am actually surprised that I can send photos on regular emails..

I walked behind the coop where I scraped with the tractor today.. I am going to have to put the back blade on and give it another go.. I uncovered some really bad smelling manure.. I am going to have to scrape down into the soil to get it all..

Evening All...
Well I been hitting the job sites trying to find a new job, or any job. I got a call yesterday and while all and good for a 20 something type.. my old(ish) bones don't do what the
interviewer/salespitch guy wanted..
Door to door sales of AT &T Uverse.. now I am not against that.. but even in his sales pitch he lied... and its straight commission, I don't do straight commiss... nope.. hourly plus comm. is fine.. But I am not hiking my 41 plus yr old body out into the freezing cold to go lie to people..
I like AT&T, but they tell people when they answer the door that you are letting them know that they are in the area doing work on the lines in the easement areas...
I point blank asked the guy.. will there be trucks in the area doing that??
NO- not untill there are work orders for upgrades or people getting Uverse...

Soo now for the good news.
I started to write this around 6:30, stopped and then got a phone call... I put out an email to an ad on the CL for a service technician, for certain types of exercise equipment and oddly enough electronic fireplaces. Well I had a phone interview, and then about an hour and a half later, I got a call back, saying I GOT THE JOB!!! WOOT WOOT!
I am soo jazzed, I will be only their second female tech.!!
Yippee!!
I am off the schnied!
