Goodmorning! Had a nice long talk with my friend this AM--she was telling me about her youngest daughter that is due today to have a son. Her husband asked if she had made an appt to go in and get induced....ah, it doesnt quite work that way fella! He is so anxious for "his baby!" Kinda cute I guess....wait until it's born; then they will realize that the baby is the easiest BEFORE it is born! (especially when it gets into it's teens!
good morning, I don't have much to say yet, just wanted to be first.. going back to bed..
there is frost on the cars..
I hope the water hoses don't freeze.
....jiminwisc.......
Now I need a paper towel for the screen....again you do this to me Jim!
Yes, Jerry and Terry used to butcher professionally. Then Jerry got pigeon lung from being inside with the house birds...he got pneumonia, had a heart attack and ended up on oxygen...that ended the butchering business. They used to grow out TONS of Cornish and sell them per pound...tidy little business but lots of work!
Looks like we may have had the killing frost here last night...the hill across the road is white. I havent been down to the gardens yet to see if they are wilted...the sun is out though and there is a cloudless sky! God day to put plastic on the windows I suppose...laundry too. I also promised my daughter that I would go and get a piece of plexi-glass cut to make her home for her gecko. We want to turn a tank on it's side tall-wise so he cant go up and down...she has big dreams of how it will look (me too!) That is my favorite thing about having odd pets...making little homes for them that are like what they would have in the wild....I wish I had an extra room so I could make a little rain forest for my parrots! now THAT would be fantastic!
THat quail is still on it's side. I took it to the water this morning and it really drank a bunch. It can kind of get up now and then. Maybe my holding it upright helped a bit? I just dont understand how it came on so suddenly? Still waiting for eggs in the cae in the basement...bet the ones outside are pretty chilly today!
I forgot to close in the Blues last night...they were all over the yard this morning and that dam^ JRT got ahold of the white silky roo and took a goodly mouthful of feathers off of it! Here is me running into the yard in my slippers and jammies yelling like a banshee "NO NO NO NO NO!!!! Leave it! GET INTO HOUSE!" I think I need a shock collar for that dog!
Suppose I oughta get going...getting chilly here by the North window...time to crank the radio and get something accomplished! I need to bake bread today for me so we can have BLTs tonight and use up the last of the garden tomatoes...
sooooo sad to say that!
DrH--maybe you should proof your yeast before you try to rise it? Seems like you have had troubles in the past with the rising? (oh man, another not so good statement...where in the world is my mind these days?) You guys have done it to me....now I need to watch every word I type!
Have a fantastic day! Terri O
