Well, The big spring bash be better! At least not quite so "last minuet". Nice seeing those who came and a break for everyone! Good thing DH got his nap in

DS and I both dozed off on the way home!

Food was real good!

FT ... hope you got home to some peace and quiet!

OK... time to try to sleep... still real tired

Just got all of the chickens settled in. Came home to the house temp of 68 degrees !!! Don't know what got into DH. Turned it down and opened a window.
One thing I forgot when I left was how messy I left things !!!! Now it's even worse that I wasn't here !!!! Imagine that !!!!

Now I know why when I go down to Racine I like to stay !!! You can definately tell the difference from a house with no pets then walking into one with !!!!!

Managed to hit a cage in the yard when I drove the truck to the Greenhouse to unload some of the chickens, then wondered what I hit when I backed up !!!! MY CAR !!!!! Not to worry though, DH had managed to rear end someone a few years ago with my car so the bumper was screwed up anyway and he also hit our large expensive bird cage with the back of the truck so no biggy there either !!!! What a night !!!!

Then I spilt some milk on the truck seat from my happy meal !!!! Won't make DH happy in the morning !

Don't know how many days it is going to take me to recoup from this trip !!! Nice to be home though but I guess there is no rest for the wicked !!!

Guess I had better take a pill or I'll be up at 5am to have the first post too !!!

There must be a lot of ducks and geese on the river this morning. They're really blasting them. All I've heard is gun shots since the sun came up. And they are right behind my house shooting towards it. Its really annoying!

Good Morning All! Looks and sounds like you all had fun at the bash! Must have been Jim on the tractor no way am I shavin! Or maybe I was wearin a fake face. I really should get one of those for goin out in public. Got a nice amount of wood made yesterday had plans of making more this AM but I see some dark clouds moving in. About the time I get dressed and out there it'll rain. Looks like a good day for football.

Good morning! I had someone stop for chickens at 8 AM! Sheesh--I hadnt even had my first cuppa yet! Do DH told him to come back in an hour...any bets on him showing up? I do hope he comes back...then that's a few less birds that I have to butcher!

Gotta go and find my net just in case the guy shows up for chickens...I kind of wanted him to get here BEFORE I let them out. Much easier that way!

A lot of times when I read your posts, I'm thinking "man, we think so much alike". We'd definitely love to tour that brewery, and I'd also love to see some of your birds, and your goat, one day. Probably have to wait for nicer weather next year.

TO apparently had put a "help" I'm building things post up... and I haven't been on at all since last night.
We have been having issues with our internet and I had to call Verizon and had to have it rebooted or reset.... grrr
we are having some extreme weather down here. sunny one minute with thunder and gray skies and clouds...

one of the jaerhons is laying again, so that is two out of five. I got a flock block for the laying hens.. they pecked at it.. and now.. not so much...
If they don't start pecking more on it.. I am going to give it to the silkies and bantams!!
LOL

Well gots to brave the weather to feed horses.

I found grey hairs on Friday... bleh! LOL
