Welcome justbugged.
Nice to see you on here.
Wow I had a busy day outside today. My landlord decided to move my mini coop to the south of my big coop. Yeay. I got out there early this morning helping and then took about 6 hours just to clean things up. He used a forklift, I thought the darn thing was going to fall apart. It is the first carpentry project I made and isnt exactly square. lol Some of the chickens went in there to try out the new location.
I been moving cement blocks and bricks and 6X6 ties. Uff da. Then I decided to cut the limb off the pine tree thats been hanging there since spring. It was only 5" diameter but thats enough for me with a hand saw. And I had to cut through the whole thing because it was caught on something. Argh. That took about an hour.
I nedd to get to the store for some IBU soon before I cant move. The way Tiger is limping you would have thought she did all the work. Only 1/2 pill tonight till I get to the vet tomorrow. She threw up for about a week and now I am cooking her white rice and hamburger and she has been doing ok for the last 3 days. Wow what an expensive diet for a dog. hehe
I cleaned up the garden and raked chicken stuff up. Pulled my bulbs and set out to dry. Re cleaned the shed where the chickens got into.
I made a sidewalk out the chicken coop door the other day. Man it is almost looking presentable now. And after all that raking I believe it smells better too. Put a pumpkin on each side of the door.
TO that celiac has got to be hard to live with. I know some people that have it too. It seems like they cant hardly eat anything. Well, at least not desert wise. It never used to be as common. Whats up with that? Maybe the docs just didnt know about it and people were just sick a lot more.
Oh BTW about the Ameraucanas people have been talking about. Mine were born last spring and they never started laying until early spring 2011. I think they were about 9-10 months at the time. But when they started they layed a lot. Does anyone have a real Randy Ameraucana roo? I have had real problems with my Ameraucana roos not letting the females alone. One time I noticed he was even backwards on a hen. Too wild temperment wise to even notice.
