Terri O, man I LOVE CB and C...being an Irish guy, that's what March is all about...that and Guiness! Mmmmmmm! Wish I was there. Just talk to your friend and tell her what you need. You need to say it and she needs to hear it. Not like you're asking for her to do more than her fair share.

Yeah I have talked to her but only at work. I guess I just have to say it again! She always says, "I get paid on Friday and you are the first on the list!" Thought for sure I would get a check last time---but no...I will try again. And you are right--that is no way to be a friend!

The Corned beef was GREAT! Everybody loved it and we even have left overs. I highly recommend getting 2 briskets if you are having more than 4 people eating! Might eat it all up before I get to making the hash though...

One of my clients had a stroke and is in the hospital today. She and her husband have been married for 75 years! Her name is Pearl and if you are the praying type please include her in yours. She is such a sweet lady! I went to visit her and took her some cookies and some "Marge Salad." She loved both. They say she will need some therapy to get her right side back.

My chickens sure are waiting right by the door when I get out there in the morning now. I started letting them out the big door so they can go into the yard. They are loving it! I do think that a few might have gone AWOL though...I am not getting as many eggs. I have a suspicion that there will be a few reappearing with a bunch of fuzzy butts in tow in 3 weeks or so! I have two geese on nests already and the ducks are pairing up too. The only brown one that I have seems to be searching for a nest site. She has the cutest babies too!

Well--I need to go out and scrape a bit of mud from the horses! I got two done last night and only 3 to go. I dont know why I even bother at this time of the year...the two I did seem just as muddy already today! At least I am getting some of that itchy hair off though. The barn floor looked like I had a whole horse worth of hair on it!

You people are just the greatest! You all care! There are so many on here that have such great attributes! So pat yourselves on the back. Now shut up and go back to work!

Bigz are you talking about getting the races out of the wheel hub? If your not able to get them out then yes take them somewhere, you don't want to ding the fit. And yes I do know how fortunate I am to have a place like that. Everytime I'm there I count my blessings with a big stupid grin on my face! Sometimes I do the happy dance! And as far as a great fishery SSHHH! And don't think I haven't thought of building a coop up there so I could take them with for an extended stay [the whole summer] it might just happen. I have options and that's a good thing. BBCB I am so looking forward to really learning that stretch of river. There's an old guy up there known as Mergy and I plan on taking his place some day as the KING. Local people watch him to know whats going on as far as the fish. I got turned on to muskies several years ago and after investing countless dollars into gear and baits...... it's still worth it! I've seen 2 full grown mallards disappear in front of my eyes. I'm not going to tell you all that I know but suffice it to say it takes a big fish to swallow a mature duck in one small splash. Stealth Stealth. Blue whales, King cobras, and Muskies impress the heck out of me. And Peaches!

NW Wisconsin has some of the best muskie fishing around...I've done some on the Eau Claire River and some of the flowages and there are some big fish out there. I've put a ton of money into muskie hunting (and salmon, and walleye, and smallie, etc., etc) and I still catch most of them on spinner bait...or some other non-muskie related gear, of course.

Ok the pic thing is working now; when I clicked on it earlier it would not enlarge, it just stayed the same small size...... must have been a glitch somewhere.

We have 6 more babies roaming around and another 2 for sure that are working on getting out. One other chick pipped in the wrong end of the egg so we will see what happens... I opened up the air hole a bit bigger for it and I will check on it again tomorrow.

DH spend most of the evening watching Bator TV....

Have to say, bator TV is great fun but so is brooder TV! Move the Andalusain chicks to a bigger area and added 2 Campine chicks that we picked up in Fondy so they had to adjust the pecking order again! Turkey babies got to move into a bigger area too and they are funny to watch as well

Well eggciting news from the bator this morning-3 pips for Terry O and we can hear chirps and see the eggs rocking--maybe by later today a couple of babies

Hello all! It's sunny out there this morning! Dr HaHa I couldn't agree with you more. People on here are the best! And Terri-o sorry if I sounded harsh before, I just re-read my ealier post and I didn't sound nice. It's just that it makes me so mad when good people get taken advatage of. She probably thinks well Terri won't push the issue so if I keep "forgetting" she will be ok with it. I'm the same way as you, I'll do anything for anyone. It makes me happy and it makes that person happy so it's worth it. Again just wanted to say sorry for the rudeness. I'll be praying for your Pearl. I took care of a Pearl once, meanest old lady I ever met. She would try to bite ever chance she got. She would look you straight in the eye and tell you to go ..... yourself. She was horrible! That was at the nursing home and she had dimenta. I loved her. Oh the memories.... I also had strawberry shortcake for supper. Thats it though.

No kids this weekend and me and the DH are eating like pigs! I seems when they are all away we gorge ourselves on everything we tell them not to eat. It's great. Well I'm off to shovel poo this morning. Have a good one!
