Been real busy, and tired, I've been reading but to tired to post, or should I say type. Been doing all of DH chores since he's been hunting and "getting ready" for the hunt !!
He got a buck & a doe yesterday !!!! Joy Joy, now he is in a real pissy mood, don't know why, maybe because the "Hunt is over" for him !!!
Now him I'm ticked at !!!
So now I have 4 donkeys, three with four legs !!!!
So after coffee I have to go out and fight the snow and feed and water the critters. I asked if he did it when I got up and he said, "It's not my weekend ! " I told him I would do it hunting weekend if he did my silkies one day.
Think he'd have some empathy for me with the snow !!!! NO, he said it wasn't in the wedding vows !!! See what I deal with !!!!
Anyway, my nephew also got a doe yesterday over in Oneida county. He's only 17 and so far has gotten one before all the adults every year. That's my baby !!! I mean young man !!!
Since it's been so long since Chuck has gotten a deer, what do they charge to process these days? He won't do it himself, to lazy !!! (Now before anybody jumps down my throat for calling him lazy, when we met that was one thing he said, "I have to admit I am lazy !" Geez if only I would have had my eyes open when I heard that !!!!
I caught all of my 6 new peacocks an dewormed them with Valbazen. That was fun catching them all by myself !!! Seems like just holding them they lose feathers !! They were everywhere !! So after doing each bird I stopped to pick up feathers !! Way to many to stuff down panties or into bra !!! So had a plastic bag out in the greenhouse and shoved them in there. I still haven't posted pictures on the peafowl site to find out what color those hens are yet. Haven't uploaded the pictures of my new pony or goats either to share with you guys,
So, guess I'm just one of those nagging old wives around here. Babysitting for an adult sure can be challenging at times !!!!!

All this talk about renters makes me ask again........ Anyone want to buy a duplex in Racine? I have pictures of that too, just didn't upload them yet either. Sure wish you could must paste them onto a post without uploading them, now who's acting lazy, it does rub off you know !!!
I told my brother I would drive my nephew down to Oshkosh for his mom to pick him up so my brother could stay up until tomorrow to hunt. Changed my mind after all of the snow. Once you've been involved in an accident with a semi on black ice you don't find it enjoyable to drive in this kind of weather (Chuck was driving not me) So now my brother will be going home a day early. I told my nephew to just skip one day of school, he said he didn't want to miss any school, he wants to keep his grades up !!!! HMMM, Are we even related ????
I would have done anything to get out of school !!! He is such a good boy, he wants to be a dentist !!! Wish it didn't take so long, I need one now !!!
So if he does follow through, I'll have a dentist to make me dentures in my old age, my niece is a RN now and will be a Nurse Practioner in the Spring and her sister is a Pharmacist !!! Hmmm makes me wonder, am I related to any of them ???
Picked up 50 lbs of carrots (at least I think they were 50lbs) at the sport shop yesterday. $6.95 a bag. Horses and goats really like one bag already !!!! Oh and I put some out in front of my game cam. I had 4 does in front of it last time I checked. Will be curious to see after hunting season is over just how many I get then.
I searched all the Goodwills up here and only found 1 huge cookie tin. I has a Terry Redlin print with a horse and buggy. I don't think I want to use that for a heater. So I bought some hog pans at Fleet Farm for $3.49 each and will make them out of that. I checked out the ones in the store for $40 and that is exactly what they are using. Identical. Now I just need to figure out what to put on the bottom. I bought sheet metal screws. May take them back and get the self taping ones.
Bought extention cords to use for the cords. Ceramic sockets, washers, nuts and threaded tube. Should be all set. Any ideas of what to use on the bottom. They one is the store was a very thin hard plastic. I was thinking of using some rubber roofing and thin sheets of panneling or ???????
