Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Hello,

I have been very very sick and barely able to get out of bed. Feeling a bit better today, but still just having a few crackers and sips of 7 up.

The pictures of Addie are adorable.

Those are some very pretty Langshans. Do you have any roos?

I agree with FT about the maleness of your silkie, HOWEVER I will not commit to anything until it crows or lays an egg.
You're right, I think it is a male. The comb is on the small side, how old is this little guy.
First thing I noticed is the swept back crest. Most of my roos have that swept back look. Those look like streamers and hackles to me too.
Hopefully Tiki244 will be on today. I'm sure she'll agree with me that it's a boy. Maybe he could be a house chicken if you cant have hens outside !! LOL

I love bright ideas. We have outbuildings. We have a barn. I have had one idea of where to put my big coop, but wasn't sure exactly what to do until then. Seriously? We have a milk house that sits empty except for kids bikes. It is 10.5 x 10.5 old stone building. It already has a Dutch door on it. It already has an opening in the wall to let them ino a run. And all we have to do is take he fence panels and set them up with netting over the top to protect. I'm pretty excited to have figured out an awesome temporary house for the birds. Then when the big one it built, this will become the breeding house, and already set up and ready to go. AWESOME!! :D

Heavy Snow Day Here....sure wish this stuff could of went your way H&R. We had Prolly 8 to 10 of the heavy stuff.....broke a auger belt on the big blower...looks like a real pain to change....prolly do the drive belt as as long as it will be apart.

Seeds from sandhill arrived today. They always send some free sample seeds to try. This year they sent orangeheart tomato seeds....gold heirloom variety....anyone want the free tomato seeds? If so send me a pm with your addy and I'll send them to you. I always buy the plants at the amish place that sells them for .25 per plant. I can't bother with them for that price.

Collected 13 eggs yesterday...all 3 blue hens are laying again now.

10.5 x 10.5 that's bigger than a bedroom that I have 2 kids in lol
my one coop is just a little bit smaller. my "summer" coop is about that size. I gotta get that one cleaned out and divided into two so I can divide up my birds.

having subway today last day for $5 foot looooooooooooooongs! lol when you buy 6 subs you need deals like these lol
Mom and I are getting our hair cut tonight. should be fun. I have a problem with styleist not knowing how to cut curly hair. you would think it was that complicated but it is. 7 people in this house and I'm the only one that gets to GO get a hair cut! lol I cut everyone elses hair. the "barber" always screws it up. nothing worse than a cowlick

or like they keep doing to my DH, he's got bad widows peaks and they always cut it too short. looks dumb. I decided after our wedding (15.5 years ago) that I had to learn how to cut hair. DH was so kind to let me practice on him. he always said "cut away, if you screw up, you shave it!" lol
anywho DH is here with food and I'm starving! later!
