Next to the quote button at the bottom of a post is a button that says "Multi". Click that each time you want to quote a different post. On the very last post you wish to quote, click the normal quote button, and all of them appear in a reply! It works over multiple pages in the same thread :D

Good morning

I haven't checked the bash thread yet I'm going there now. lol

They are starting Fattie on insulin this morning, possibly bringing him home tonight but he might stay there another night too.... They say he is still not eating much unless they shove it right under his nose. This morning I got all the comments about how this is a 15 yr old cat and why are we blowing so much money on just a cat..... if he was ready to be put down then I would be the first one to suggest it but he still has a spark in his eye and is still interested in his surroundings. Diabetes is manageable and so we will keep him comfortable for as long as we can. I do not expect miracles, but he is not ready to go yet.

Apparently DH took the day off next Saturday for the Bash! Feel special people, he hardly ever takes a Saturday off! Now I need to convince him to take that Sunday off......

Off to the Vet, have to drop off Fatties meds..... I suppose I should start calling him Squirrel again since he will probably never be the fat cat he once was...

Later all!

Good morning all! I expect Jim is typing his reply right now as well....this will be short. I need to get outside and the dog wants to play...more! Carol is supposed to pop by today to ride..wonder if she will? It is so nice out--I have sheets in the washer that I will hang out. I wanted to do some work in the house today...not happening! I have to be outside if it is nice.
Posted the bad horse stories on my FB page...hopefully the story will go viral and those folks wont be able to have horses any more! (or any animals) THat is only one worse than starving your kids! Or maybe it is worse cause the people in charge take kids away faster!

Shoot--not the dog is wining--I better see to that...be back later...maybe! Terri O

Morning all!
Whoo Hoo!! It's sunny here!! Yeah!!
Everyone is fine although I DH heard a rabbit screaming this morning. Turns out one of the nimrods got his leg caught on the cage door.

Once I got him freed, he was fine.

BL4-Good to hear the Squirrel is doing better!

Dan-I voted!!!

TO-I found a restaurant for you to go to if you ever go to the Edgerton area! It's new and called Blue Gilly's Pancake Pier and Lunch Dock. Open 7 days a week 7am-2pm. Why do you want to eat there? Well....not only are they yummy...they also have a menu the is completely Gluten Free! Yes a GF menu! They also state that they have a grill specifically designated for their GF menu...The prices are very reasonable and they take Visa/MC taboot....

WCc-I saw those horses on the news. How sad that Dane County for all it's wealth is so stupid....I mean wow! Because it's costs to much to rescue and house 20 starving horses they'd rather leave them in deplorable conditions and have them die from starvation. Obviously, with this girl moving them to avoid detection she is already showing that she has no intention of following the counties pathetic mandates to begin with. So sad....so so sad...Those poor horses....

good morning, TerriO, I was still reading 6 pages when you posted..

I cannot believe that those "goo-dooders" in Madison are not all over this horse fiasco..
They have all the time in the world to delete any and all posts on Craig's List that has anything to do with selling or giving away dogs or farm animals.. I guess they just never leave their computers long enough to see what the real world is up to..

The people in charge of animal control always say that "these things have to go through the channels, and take time". but it always amazes me that if pressure gets put on them hard enough, how the procedures can be put aside.. those people need to be replaced, and quickly..

too bad about the phone call barrage.. they simply won't answer the phones,,

I wonder, are these people appointed ? or elected ? today is voting day.. vote out the ones appointing them.. disregard party lines on this one..

off my soap box now..

we moved the second peahen into the now vacated other breeder pen.. she has only two eggs, but we don't want her getting attacked by the night time prowlers.. Now we have to figure out how to catch her mate.. He hangs around the pen, but he is also the wildest peacock we have.
pretty wiley, too.. can't be herded into a pen by just two people..

the attacked peahen is starting to recover in her small hospital pen.. we are thinking of putting her in with the other hen..

the 5 quail are going to go out into the big pen with the 90 chicks.. they are older, so should be able to hold their own..

..........jiminwisc.......

Good Morning everyone. The articles about the horse is horrible. Whats the point in having the animals if you cant take care fo them. Heck it's as simple as giving them away to a new home.

Anyway, I need to make my to do list for today and a grocery list for DH. He actually agreed to do the gorcery shopping this week on his way home to save gas. This is the first time in 6 years he's done the full weeks worth of groceries lol. I dont even want to think about all the extra junk he's going to buy. While taking the kids down to the bus this morning I see a big turkey over at the edge if the woods. I was glad to see at least one of the local turkeys made it this year so far. I tried to look for some Morels but we dont have crap around here. Heck I havn't even seen an Elm tree since moving here. DH has become attached to some of my meat chickens, go figure. I have 5 RIR's and now he wants to keep one but doesnt want to decided which one until all the tail feathers grow out. So looks like thats 5 less birds to butcher for now. Oh well.

Does anyone know when to clip Mallard wings? I googled it but I just keep coming across how to's that dont say when.

Well I guess thats it for now. I hope everyone has a great day.
You have to wait until they are fully feathered in. If you do it before the feather is done growing and still has blood in it (blood feather) it will bleed and then you will have to pull the whole feather out. So once the feathers are fully grown it would be safe to do.

Good morning,

seems the weather liars might be wrong this morning,,,,,,,,hopefully,,,,a few sunny days would really be great

Now,,,,,a reminder,,,,,,today is the primary election,,,,,no matter which side you stand on in this time of WI politics,,,,please find the time to go and vote. Most of us are already worn thin with election ads and the controversy, this will continue through June no matter what, the eyes of the nation are on this state. I won't start a debate here that's for sure, but it is important that we all make use of our right to play a role in our government,,,,,get out and vote,,,or don't complain at the outcome

(this has been a public service announcement from Unk

)

bbl,,,,time to let the flock out as long as it's sunny,,,these birds are nuts, the rainy days they still pick and forage all day,,,soaking wet at night when they roost
Thanks for the reminder, thanks Unk !!

I am SO thrilled to have gotten out in the garden this morning! I got zucchini, squash, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, watermelon, peppers and tomatoes in! Yay! I just need to put out the celery plants and I'm done! I'll go back in a couple more weeks and do some more potatoes and corn. But I'm thrilled to be pretty much done now! And I'm happy that it's sprinkling out! Perfect!
