FT, that is heartbreaking about that poor horse.
Very nice to hear about an honest person who took the time to call your bank & put the wallet in the mail.
Kristi, thanks for posting the website about the raspberries. I stopped putting out my birdfeeders & the coons moved on. One did tip over one of my birdbaths & broke it, though.
Guess they showed me. Good luck.
Cool website, Ang! Good luck getting your zzzzzz's.
I've heard the PO's
usually call around 5ish. Good luck with the new babies!
And I'd say your hen sounds confused.
Welcome, I am in Soup Town and DAS is from Solon Area...
What is your preference for Chickens and what are your goals?
KEN
WAIT just a minute KEN...we are supposed to have goals now?
Dont you be takin' the fun out of chicken ranching!
Personally TO, I think Ken scared them off with that statement.
Raim, that was funny.
Amber, cute pic and way to go on selling your keets!
Carol, hope you're feeling better real soon!
Susie, if you have critters eating up all your scratch, you might be giving your birds too much?
I've read you should only give them enough that they can finish in 10-15 minutes to avoid attracting unwanted critters. HTH. And congrats on the new grandkiddle!
Not much to report today. Did some running around with mom today. Had to get more meds for Ramses too. He is looking great, BTW. The meds are helping his heart & keeping the fluid from accumulating, but they aren't doing any favors for his ailing kidneys. At least there is nothing that requires any action to be taken yet. He acts like nothing is ailing him, so that is good too. I got some tuna paste, stuffed his meds inside them & tossed them into the dehydrator=instant kitty ambrosia instead of the detestable pills down the gullet!
I am now once again "mom with the permanent lap" and not someone to hide from. Until the shot comes out, that is.
But at least for now, all is well in the kingdom. Now if only this sinus infection would go "poof".......... Sweet dreams, all!
