Sure hope they do the right thing. Talked to the owner of the stable he is at and he is doing good. Gained some weight etc. She is a busy lady so I didn't want to ask to many questions. They don't really tell her anything. They just pay the board and that's it.

Afternoon To All...back from Green Bay and the laser helped alot. Not young eyes, but better vision hands down. Stopped by Aldi's and hit the Tomski isle...those sweet potato krinkle cut chips are tasty, just bet you tryed them already. Big watermellon $3.79....the flock is gonna love me!

Also stopped by u-bake to see if they had any cherrie pies...nope...just gonna have to ho-make one with the canned stuff.

Good Luck with the place CS...hire a title company to take care of all the buisness, no need for a lawyer...all they do is hire the title company and send you a bill....just sayin. I know buisness.

Leaning toward making juice with the first 25lbs of maters...I've given so many away already...you just have to share their awesome flavor with everyone....nice to hear that you shared the fish Doc, hope they enjoyed it as much as you woulda.

Good to hear that the OM is gonna make it frenchie...it's tough to give up some vices...I have more than a few. Life is way short...one needs to enjoy a few things and be happy, eh! Kinda like I did it my happy way, all the way.

Nice to hear the berry patch is grand this year jim. Enjoy the harvest.

Evening all!
I meant to post this morning but just never got the chance! Got to chores, got to cleaning (I got a new canister vac!) and ate some lunch then called my SIL back in Cali before they leave to Kauai for vacation. Talked to her for 2 hours then dh came home and it was time to feed dogs!
SG is brooding again. I stuffed her butt in a carrier. She can brood till the cows come home. Grrrrr

some info to pass along,,,,
this was posted on one of the message boards I subscribe to,,,there is a Diagnostic Vet Lab in Barron, WI,,,,Dr Jones or his associate are the guys to call for any problems involving tests of sick birds,,,,#715-637-3151. This info came from a Marans breeder in Ohio that uses this lab, had good things to say about them

Got the birds all taken care of finally, 2 were cooked in the stockpot low and slow made 12 qts of stock that I will pressure can tomorrow, the bones were picked, ended up with almost 8 lbs of meat,,,made chicken, rice, broccoli, cheese casserole, a huge batch of chicken salad, the rest went in 1lb packs in the freezer,,,,nummy stuff. The remaining 6 I cut up and froze. These boys averaged 4.72 lbs dressed,,,21 week old Marans/olive egger crosses, had them caged for 2 weeks eating corn and oats,,,not much fat but it was nicely yellowed...

garden is rockin,,,too tired to think come evening,,,lol

Frenchie I saw that mini coop and scoured the web trying to find out how they made it or other pics of the inside so I could figure it out myself. It sure is cute!

We have the mayor telling people you need a 20x16 shed in order to keep chickens....... I think he is plum loco. Wed. night is the City Council meeting in Appleton to determine if they will be able to have chickens or not.

I am thinking I might go and check things out.... I hope it passes.

I was really surprised at my class reunion.... I had a good time. I was wanting the stuck up witches to show but none of them ever did...... I was ROCKIN' in my little number. Anyway, the ones who are friends on FB kept asking me; 'So what is this with the posts about ducks?'. I spent most of the dinner explaining the extreme ordinance that we have and that I am fighting City Hall (they were not surprised about that part). Made for an interesting evening.

CS, if you knew how much my 16 yr old DD could talk.... you would welcome a little silence...

Took my first walk in a month..... ugh! SO out of shape!!!! I better keep at it if I am going to be ready for the 5k in three weeks!

We really liked the house and property, now we have to come up with the money!

bl4- I do enjoy silence and I am glad that mine aren't there yet (almost but not quite). Only a few years away however!
