And anniversary was great!

Went for a sunset dinner cruise in the Dells. We had cheese and crackers, salad, sirloin and lobster with potatoe wedges and carrots, and a small slice of orange vanilla cake.

Then we went to see The Campaign with Will Ferrell and Zack Galifinakis. It was FUNNY! I would love real life politics to be like that. I almost cried from laughing so hard at one point!

Got a card, a dozen roses, and diamond earrings.

And no I didn't use the gun on him CC. How could I after a dozen roses and over half carat diamond studs???

Well, now that I have eggs, nobody will eat them because they "have baby chicks"

Tried to explain it to them lol. Soooo now I'm going to make a little pen for a couple hens so that they will actually eat them. Take a look at my new rooster! He's a mutt, but such a sweetie. Phoenix x RIR. Now to look for hens that lay more frequently than 3 a week lol.


Also, TO, here's the goslings you gave me. They're such a hoot!

Amberflea: I've been trying to figure out the same thing. Its the crumbles breaking down into a fine dust right? What Ive been doing is moving this to one side-sprinkling a lil fresh on top of it and hoping they get some of this when eating the new! Frustrating as its a huge waste. I was thinking of making a paste out of it and tricking them into thinking mom brought them treats!!!

What does everyone do with their feed "dust", after a week the bottom half of my feeder is fine particles of feed, which the chickens don't seem to eat...

It's getting to expensive to throw out...

I used to have a problem until the ducks learned to sneak in the coop and they have no issue eating every molecule of feed dust.

Morning (still) I have been doing 4H stuff and trying to get the dogs to go out...so I went to help DH hook up his trailer, he's going to Elkhart Lake for the weekend

, and the dam^ dog peed on the floor! Like HUGE puddle! Only problem is I couldnt tell if it was Mattie or Elliot--they both looked guilty to me! So DH had to move his huge recliner so I could mop up under there...this is such a habit for them/her and it is driving me crazy! Now they are in their kennels!

Nice you stopped in FM! I am so surprised that the hatching crazy woman I know is giving up on chickens! So what are you doing that is consuming all your time now? All I seem to read is "going to the beach!" LOL! I have actually been to the lake here a couple times this summer...unusual for me. Abraham, the favorelle I got from you also passed away during the heat...his cross bred son got a 2nd at the county fair though so his genes live on!

I wanted to say more...but I cant remember what I was going to comment on....again...
oh yeah--Twizzzz--did you get both of those birds from me? I dont have any white. Wondering if you got an odd one or if that one just needed a buddy...see, CRS!!!
