!!!!!!!HAPPY FOOTBALL DAY EVERYONE!!!!!

Good early evening! I am exhausted! Our camping trip was fun...except for the rain that wasnt "supposed to" happen! DH had ridden the motorcycle to our campsite to have dinner with us and then it started to come down. We sat in the car for about an hour and then he rode home. He did say that the cowling kept his body pretty dry but his legs and boots were soaked! It wasnt too chilly in the trailer and the riding was great again today...such a beautiful day again! I love fall!

So I am home NOT watching the game. I am heading out to pick tomatoes and start on a batch of salsa. A client called and wanted me to come and give her a hand but I was able to talk her through it...had to get some directions for medicating with Denagard and catch up on here of course!
So it's off to the garden now for me! Later! I am glad it was such a nice weekend cause there were only 35 posts to read to catch up!

You are right, thank goodness for urgent care on Sundays. my wife and I both went I guess that's a two-for-one special. yeah sure. It looks like my wife might have strep throat so they put her on a strong antibiotic. They said mine could be a lot of different things so she gave me five days of prednisone and took lots of blood. I have a job interview here in Milwaukee tomorrow morning and then I fly back to Virginia for another week. It's been 11 months now in and out each week. complaining but not really. thankful that I have a job so we can pay bills but it's tough with that much traveling and living in hotel rooms.

I had to get rid of one of my three production chickens I started out with. she was the prettiest but decided to defeather the remaining two. One of those is now called ugly. I returned the mean one to the farmer I got them from. I still have the bantam silver lace w. that I got at the bash. Turns out she is real broody. Problem is I got nothing for her to hatch. Over the winter I ordered eggs over the intranet and moved her into the garage. No dice and twenty bucks down the drain. If someone within an hour of Menomonee Falls wants to sell me some fertile eggs,, I would appreciate that. I hanged to some mill feed. I have been getting some weird eggs, look like leather, thin shells and one shell-less egg. I feed them FF and provide extra oyster shell.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Packer Loss Afternoon All....last place in our division now....need to get going soon...I'm thinkin.

Yep, it was me Vickie...I actually think the ameraucana's are the loudest...they get on their squawking jag and they go on and on and on...the buckeyes are quite vocal...and i think the brahmas are the best behaved...however the food is always just theirs....LOL! Gotta love all those pretty hens.

Suzie did some more stewed today for Angie....she got a good deal on a new freezer at the antigo sears store...she scored a 21 cubic ft upright for $499...i've been helping them shop and most 16 cubic ft uprights are around $700...glad she checked them out...the sale went off sat. They needed one bad.

We go to ruby's pantry where you pay $15 for all the food they give you....it's amazing how much you get for that donation. boxes of food...google ruby's pantry for a location near you...don't know if their is south locations. It's a once a month thing...just sayin.

Good evening all, we are home from Jims, puppies in tow, poor boys were scared to death on the ride home, but got over it mostly the moment we pulled in the driveway, and got them outa the big doggy carrier, then they got the surprise of there lives, huge giant dogs hehe (horses) came to greet them in the corral, Max yipped and tried to run away, bear would not go 1 step closer than 50 feet away and they high tailed it to the house as soon as they got the ok. Then more surprises CATS...big fat fur balls, OMG funny as can be don't know who was more afraid the cats or the puppies, so we settled em in fed and watered them, and let them investigate for a bit, then we planned on introducing Leo and Tigger, thinking again they were gonna be scared out a there minds.......well, at first they coward, then , Max started barking and growling, and Bear started barking and Leo just waggled his tail whining to play like a pup himself........... Here I was worried my big ole Leo who weighs in at 120LBS, or Tiggy my old but ferocious 93 lb.Pit bull would eat them.......LOL seems these puppies want to eat them instead, and had, had enough excitement and new things for 1 day........... so they are sleeping in my bathroom tonight until I get there pen set up tomorrow, then they can all get to know each other through the kennel fence, until they get used to seeing each other. Silly dogs..........

Ty everyone for your thoughts and prayers for us and our very much missed Bugsy, he would have been like Leo wanting to play with the new puppies, I sure wish he could have met them. I miss him so much, but being away a few days has helped I only cried twice over the weekend, and not all day, plus the puppies are helping too in there own way, by keeping me alert to there moods and needs. So I will let Jim tell ya all about the weekend, I'm super tired........... talk to ya all tomorrow............Kim

PS welcome anyone who I missed over the weekend,..............I will catch up on posts tomorrow.......... Night

Ok.. bedtime.. but I have to tell you all I am freak and have bad luck!!!

All these new holes I got put in my head (well ear) tues... all but 1 are infected. SO much so.. I had to go to urgent flipping care to get 2 of them removed! My ear was so swollen that you couldn't grasp the one earring at all, and tweezers had to be used. But it was so swollen and painful I couldnt do it myself. I asked her to numb it up and she shot up my ear twice and I could STILL feel the dam things being yanked out!!! I actually had tears streaming out my eyes. I couldnt keep them in. I even have antibiotics for pete's sakes. Seriously... who knew 38 yrs olds had to go to urgent care to get earrings removed!!!!

Lesson learned: this old body cannot manage cartaledge piercings. No more. Never again. THE END.
