I just may have to take a nap! LOL

For a Christmas Present we were taken to Red Lobster tonight. I am stuffed!

A few more days to chicken hatch! I am looking forward to these road island reds..should be good stock if they hatch out.

I have a white silkie roo, white silkie pullet, and white paint roo. I also have a blue silkie pullet and a blue partridge pullet. Uummm what was the question again? LOL!
BF4M- KristiP has a lovely blue splash silkie pullet that was hatched out from her roo, they are wintering with me. She would cross really well with the paint roo.
I hope your roo gets better.
If you have space to let the roos fight it out, it would be a good idea. IF not keep them separated, I had a fight happen with a great roo that TO gave me, and my older blue cuckoo marans roo that I got from Hurley (ODrH). He just would not accept him and he got injured in such a way that he limped permanently. I found him a home with a neighbor who just has chickens for fun. The same old roo started to go after Flynn, his son who was hatched out at Kristi's, so he is now in the big stall with 3 Jaer roos and a d'uccle roo. I find this set up interesting as its a 12x20 or 12x24 foot stall and the 2 younger Jaers are about 2-3 months apart, and no one fights. I think it helps that I have multiple roosts and feeding spots.

I almost forgot
I saw this and wasn't sure if TO would be interested...

I have anywhere between 10 to 15 free chickens. These are free range chickens that are past prime laying age. Year & 1/2 to 2 years old. Also have some really pretty young roosters that are free as well. Some of these hens will sit once in the spring, so you could use them for that (to hatch chicks), or whatever. 920-988-2395.

What a day! I have been running since I got out of bed! Sister calls this morning and asks if we would like to go to the Appleton Museum to see the DaVinci exhibit. Sure! I love Da Vinci! Pile three of mine in the car and her two and away we go. The exhibit was really cool! They had working examples of many of Da Vinci drawings and ideas, the kids had a lot of fun working with the machines getting them to work and reading the history behind them.

After the museum, we had lunch at India Darbar. My children have never had Indian food, and my sis' kids have only had curry before so this was an experience! I was loving it, I have been dying to have some butter chicken for a few weeks...... After lunch we hit Fleet, Woodman's, Best Buy, and finally Steins..... we left the house at 10:30 and came back home by 4.... just in time for me to sit for a minute before taking the youngest to taekwondo. Came home, made Chicken Fajitas, and remembered that I promised my BIL a chocolate cake for Christmas..... so I have now baked a chocolate cake, made the frosting, and now I am just waiting for the cake to cool off so I can frost it and GO TO BED.
