Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

Thanks!

I love having a variety of egg colors too. Now to just get some roos to go with these hens and I'll be in business!!

I'd like to breed a few olive eggers with them as well.

Delisha - I believe sussex lay a light tan egg but I'm not positive. I've got some coronation sussex eggs coming in spring too.

Those are very pretty!

I have more eggs coming from the contest. They were shipped today. I have Americauna's Speckled Susex, Marans.(Two varieties) I have never seen a Speckled Susex, wonder what type of egg they lay or how large a bird they are.

I have a SS, she's shown in my pics, lays a med light tan egg, nice hen with ppl, pretty much the Alpha hen in my flock, small, maybe 4.5 lbs,,,,of course you might hatch a cockrel

wow, who knew that driving an hour and a half just to have blood drawn could turn into such a fun day :D the clinic we went to in Shawano had a Tractor Supply right across the street! I was like a kid in a candy store! They had all the chickie stuff I could never find and nearly cleaned them out of all the cool poultry mags I knew were out there but could never find.Hubby prommised that since we go right by Shawano every time we have to go to my cancer clinic that we can stop any time I want, Don't think it has anything to do with all the boy stuff they have too ;) .

I really like reading about all the hatching/swapping adventures you are all envolved in :pop

question. anyone ever gotten any chicks from Tractor Supply?

totally long day so time to hit the hay. Night night all.

From June's brain.
due to the damage caused by an Ice Cream Monster shooting cone thunderbolts and raining enormous colorful sprinkles, there are several damaged chartreuse spider plants which need to be hauled away by the first available person with a lively imagination and a good heart. please email immediately.
