Wisconsin "Cheeseheads"

I am registered for the pullorum training in Madison on Saturday, April 13th. If anyone wants to join me, That's where I'll be. They are still accepting registrations as of this morning.

Thanks again BigZ.

Hurley- Is that the testing matter you are selling in your signature?

Hey everyone Sorry to be MIA but things have been hectic. Mom's memorial service was Sat and Dad passed away on Sun. Don't know when I'll be back on. Hope your all well and your chickens are laying. A few people know how to get a hold of me if anything is needed that I can help with.

Good morning! Yes JJ that is the stuff she is selling. I dont know the expiration date of hers...she did the class last year I think. I guess it is only good for a year? THey should really fix that seeing as you have to buy such a great quantity! My daughters are going to lunch at Mariachi today...they have invited me along but I think I am staying home. Lots to do here today. This morning I looked at the kitchen counter and there is a 13" curved crack in it!

I thought it was a piece of hair and wiped at it...NOPE. Neither of the girls know what happened either. How can a Corrian counter crack? I wonder if I have a warrantee? I thought that stiff was good for like 30 years?

Yeah Jim...I am getting old now so I stay up late like the rest of you! (Mr Post at 3AM!)

I have no idea why I was up that late last night since the kids werent here. I guess my body is getting used to this second shift schedule.
Good job on the eggs Cassie~you will soon have lots of cuteness at your place too!
JJ I thought you were going to suggest ME for a place for Carol to take her meaties! LOL--glad you didnt...not my favorite thing. Although, For 5 bucks a bird I guess I can struggle through it! THe last time I took mine to a service (20 years ago) she charged $1.80/bird! Sheesh!

Well, cuppa needs to be refilled...guess I better get moving! Have a great day!

If your gonna go into the processing business, who's gonna do the murdering?

If the stuff expires maybe some of us can split an order.

I just talked to DrH. He sounds very sad but says it was a blessing that his Dad passed. He got to see all the relatives that came for the Memorial service DrH reports. So much for him to to now...maybe that is why he is so worn out! Poor guy! (I am hoping that he doesnt mind I posted this!)
He says he feels all of our hugs and they help! Good luck DrH and Godspeed to your Dad!

Hi all,
where is Abendroth's located???

Ok, bored so a little showing off while I wait for my new babies to arrive.

the one on the left is the feeder we are all familiar with. Notice how much flatter and larger the one on the right is. I love it tho I did have to do some sanding on some edges I just thought were just too sharp for the babies. Have no idea when this was originally manufactured but never ran across another one like it.

these are my antique feeder/waterers. the left (metal) chick feeder is a circa 1909 design.
The patent on the bottom of the REALLY heavy glass waterer puts it at around the same age.
I love the idea of glass for the waterer because of the ability to sterilize it.

Ok, the sun is finally trying to peek out so I guess I have to go outside and clean the girls' coop.

Have a great day all and one more hug to you Dr. H.
