Super creative, Colton!

Oh for 'G's sake, never a dull moment when Heather is on board !!!!  What color runners or don't you know??? I'd take black, black and white pied, not that I'm fussy or anything !! LOL
Yeah, I think we all take things or granted. When I broke the small bone in my hand years ago and had to have a cast (even though it was my left hand) I realized how bad it was to not have use of that hand and didn't realize how it would afffect my every day life as well because of my other missing part (no Heather not my brain) lol

So anyway, CS I'll pm you abothe puppy. Where abouts do you live in Centeral WI?     I was hoping to hear from VickyW. I think she needs another dog as well.

You could hear me drooling couldn't you??? I don't dare even think about it, hubby would strangle me!!! However, I may know someone but I need more details so pm me.

thanks colton! left to right Buff orpington "Jamica"; Easter egger "Ursula"; Cuckoo maran " Viola"; and Blue cochin "Queen Elizabeth the third" -my 13 yr old helped name them lol

Well, my girls actually got to play outside today afterall. The weather was actually nice (relatively speaking) until just a little while ago when the rain/snow decided to start so I steamed the trimmings off the veggies that went in with the roast, tossed in a little kale for crunch and gave the ladies a warm dinner and put them away.

I swear, if I didn't know for sure my chicks were sex-links, I'd swear they were roos!!! Stuck my hand in this morning to grab their food dish and the one I call "Red" (temporarily) attacked me!

It went for my hand and tried to figure out how to peck me

So of course I scooped the little dinosaur up and snuggled it until it quit squawking at me. Then I decided to play with her buddies whether they liked it or not, which they didn't

The funniest part is these little pterodactyls run to a corner and hide when I put a kale leaf into the brooder. Such brave little puff balls,

Colton~I love your pinata (notice mine would not change, even ran the spell check! probably because I'm running Chrome)

Two roadtrips coming up, yuck. Monday is fun, Tues. another trip to Greenbay. At least no more tests. AND we will be stopping at TSC on the way back so I can grab some chickie supplies and another bottle of Nutridrench. Can't believe how cheep

(sorry, couldn't resist) it is there compared to anywhere else.

Hope Dr.H is lurking at least a little. Hugs to you Dr HaHa,

if you're out there. I hope you feel up to joining us again soon. I try to remember a little extra prayer for you and your family.

Love all the new chickie pics, so sorry for all the losses. Spring can really be a crazy rollercoaster for us animal folks.

Now I must go tend to the roast beast and the beast that's guarding the roast!!!!

Thanks Irish-hard to get anything done with them around ;-)

VIcki: I am having the same issue with mine-paranoid as these were sold as sexed pullets. However you hear different opinions on what to look for in roos versus pullets, and I swear I could second guess each one!!!
The Maran has a tiny lil comb already (they are almost 3 weeks); the EE rises up and pecks at me even though she loves to be held, the cochin was the last to get in her back/shoulder feathers and the buff-well thats probably the only one that so far has no signs of anything remotely male! Argh! I really cant handle dealing with re homing any more males so crossing my fingers that Welp sexed them properly! (according to their website they feather sex)

Thanks for the explanation JJ, I remember you posting that pic once you re-posted it. The missing limb was completely forgotten!

Thank you Colton for letting us know your trick. Good looking rooster too! I made a pinata once, made it WAY too thick and made it into a turkey. I think we ended up ripping it apart since I would not break open.

My allergies are wreaking havoc on me today! Sinus headache almost all day long and stuffed up...... I am tired of taking pills too.

Leftovers tonight; perhaps we can all sit down and watch a movie.......
