I think I like the tiller idea the best, and from the looks of last year's harvest and what has been posted, I think some of these plants need to be thinned. I look forward to both of your process pics. You can always PM them to me if there are more than you want to post.
Kristip - we just read about the market starting up in NG, I love this.
Belleville tried it for a few years and I think it fizzled out which is too bad, but it can take about three to five years for a famers market to establish. Depends, of course on the town. We just started our business (officially) last year and that was with the meat birds and eggs. This year we are going to increase the laying flock and introduce the veggies. We may check out the NG market, but will probably sell from the farmstead and word-o-mouth. Having said that - you bet I'll connect w/you. In fact, I see you are a "rummager" as am I. We will be having a garage sale on May 10th & 11th and it looks like a few of the neighbors will join in. It would be great if you could to stop by so we can meet.
