today I have to move two goslings and the peachick out to one of the small brooder pens.. then set up a TV for the newly hatched keets..
I could also let the chicks in the big brooder loose inside the coop if it weren't for the fact that the POL pullets are using the coop.. this musical coop/brooder game is getting complicated.. I might just have to build a Dutch door on that coop so the big birds can fly in and out, and the little ones would stay in.. at least for a little while longer..
One of the POL is sleeping in the big coop.. I wish they all would.. the geese stay in there over night,, I think that is too intimidating for these young ladies..
I might be forced into repairing the hole in the lean to pen and letting the geese sleep in there..?
more work to do.. it never ends..
I have to contact a guy from Iowa who is interested in my large incubators.. then I have to contact a woman who needs a parrot sized cage for an African parrot.. I have a really nice and large cage, but it won't fit through a normal sized door.. this cage cost about $600.oo new. (we bought it used ). It fit through our French style patio doors..
all this talk about work is making me tired..
